"Yeah. Let's wait a little longer. After all, we're going to see Grand Kai, so we should go in our best state. Besides, you also need to calm down properly. In order to catch up with and surpass Salari, your training over the past two months has put your body in what appears to be an extreme state, but in reality, it's already starting to show warning signs. If I'm not mistaken, your strength has already hit a bottleneck, hasn't it?" Talot responded, informing Raditz of his issue.
Raditz was stunned upon hearing this. He didn't speak and fell into deep thought.
"You really should take a break and learn from Salari's training method." Talot reached out and patted Raditz's shoulder, then looked toward North Kai, saying, "I've just broken through and need to stabilize my strength. This transformation has given me a huge power boost, and my spirit energy has also increased significantly as a result."
"No problem. When I spoke with Lord Grand Kai, he gave his tacit approval. You can go at any time, as long as he is given an advance notice." North Kai nodded.
With North Kai's reply, Talot then looked toward Salari and understood her current situation.
Now that he had reached his current level, he hoped that in the near future, Salari and Raditz could both achieve the Super Saiyan transformation.
Otherwise, they truly wouldn't be able to put any pressure on him going forward.
"These next few days, aside from stabilizing my own power, I'll give my full support to both of you, especially you, Raditz. I'll teach you the method to sense and control S-Cells," Talot said.
Upon hearing this, Raditz's eyes lit up, and his previous negative emotions completely vanished: "You've mastered the method?!"
"Of course. Did you think I broke through this time just by chance? If you want to go beyond the Super Saiyan level, S-Cells are essential! The control method is even more critical! I can teach you the method, but whether you can accumulate enough to transform depends on your own training. Compared to you, Salari should be more clear of this," Talot added.
Raditz was thrilled. Salari nodded and followed up: "As expected of Brother Talot, he saw our problem right away. I can already sense and control S-Cells, but I still can't transform yet."
"That's due to insufficient quantity! As for this issue, I've already thought of the fastest solution!" Talot said with a mysterious smile.
"What solution?" Salari asked curiously, her bright eyes wide open.
Raditz and North Kai also perked up their ears.
"Battle!" Talot said.
"Battle? That simple, Brother Talot?" Salari asked in disbelief.
"That's right. We Saiyans are a fighting race by nature. Fighting is actually the fastest way for us to grow stronger."
"When we get to Grand Kai's Planet, didn't North Kai say there would be plenty of opponents? So before that, Raditz and Salari, you two need to do your best to learn the method I'm teaching you, it'll help you transform successfully much faster."
After Talot finished speaking, Raditz said excitedly: "As expected of you, Talot. This idea is totally insane… but it's exactly what I was thinking too."
As the three conversed, North Kai stood nearby, watching silently without joining in.
…
Time flew by.
In the blink of an eye, another half month had passed.
On this day, Talot, Salari, and Raditz had all completed their final preparations, and under the lead of North Kai, they headed to the central region of the Other World: King Yemma's Palace.
On Snake Way, North Kai moved along at a leisurely pace, while the three quietly followed behind.
Until a long time had passed…
"Snake Way is a million kilometers long. Lord North Kai, you're not seriously thinking of walking all the way there, are you?" Salari asked, half laughing, half exasperated.
"If we walk, when will we ever get there? Why don't I just use Instant Transmission? Isn't that simpler?" Raditz said with his arms crossed, clearly already running out of patience.
If it weren't for the fact that he had known North Kai for years, and that North Kai had always treated him well—especially recently, having given him extra training attention—he probably would've already started cursing him angrily.
Talot didn't mind though. He even thought that North Kai probably had something planned.
Surely the Four Kais don't have to walk to Grand Kai's Planet every time, do they?
If that's the case, it would really be disappointing. Flowers would bloom and wither by the time they got there.
"Just look at how impatient you all are. It's understandable to be aggressive during training for the sake of getting stronger, but now you're even grumbling over a simple walk. You should know: haste makes waste," North Kai said, still maintaining his usual mysterious demeanor.
He continued walking forward, but Gregory and Bubbles could no longer keep up the act.
Since Bubbles couldn't speak, all he could do was keep letting out "Ooh-ooh" sounds.
Gregory, on the other hand, was different.
He shook his little head and said, "Alright, alright, it's just that a plane was arranged to pick us up, what's there to hide? If we really had to walk, without eating, drinking, or resting, it'd take us decades at the very least."
As soon as he finished speaking, North Kai nearly stumbled right off Snake Way.
What followed was a full-blown argument between North Kai and Gregory.
One tried desperately to save face, while the other kept tearing it down.
If Gregory hadn't been with North Kai for so many years, he probably would've been replaced long ago.
All in all, it was pretty clear what kind of person North Kai was.
"But wouldn't Instant Transmission be much faster?" Salari couldn't help but complain.
She had never ridden a plane, but back on Earth, she had seen them.
And they didn't exactly seem… fast.
"Salari-chan, you must understand, it's a rare occasion for me to leave my planet and head to Grand Kai's Planet. This whole thing is like a vacation, and taking in the scenery is part of the fun," North Kai said, effectively shutting everyone up.
What else could they say? That's just how North Kai was.
At a time like this, he wasn't thinking about what would happen after meeting Grand Kai. Instead, all he cared about was enjoying himself wherever he went, and even this process had to be done right.
After traveling for quite a while, Talot and the others finally saw a silhouette rapidly approaching from the horizon.
There was only a single unique aura, not very strong.
Only when it got closer did they realize, it was the plane. That special aura belonged to the pilot flying it.
"No way… such a rundown plane?" Salari couldn't hold it in anymore.
Raditz, of course, felt the same way. "This is just… way too shabby…"
"What do you two know? This is a private jet I managed to buy after a ton of effort! Come on now, don't judge by appearances. It's no different from other planes inside. In fact, it's even faster."
Under North Kai's persuasive words, everyone could only follow and board this so-called private jet.
To be honest, the sight of the plane stirred a memory deep in Talot's mind.
Back when he was watching the Other World Saga in the anime, he'd been completely dumbfounded by this scene, so much so that even years later, it would still pop into his mind as a particularly funny moment.
Who would've thought that one day, he'd be riding this very same plane himself?
