Li Hannian blinked his eyes and coughed softly before walking out of the reception room amid the helpless looks of the staff.
After leaving the police station, Chu Nanxi took a car back to the Li family mansion and went directly to the study on the third floor where Li Hanzhe was.
Inside the study, the two men who had been busy all night were now discussing their next steps over coffee.
Seeing her enter, Li Hanzhe pushed the snack plate toward her.
"Nanxi, take a seat and rest for a while."
Chu Nanxi sat on the small sofa, "How's it going?"
The two brothers looked at each other, Li Hanchen shrugged his shoulders, "Both of our tasks went smoothly, but... Anian's case is a bit tricky."
"What do you mean?" asked Chu Nanxi.
"We have a way to prove his innocence, but... with the current evidence, we can't connect it to Lin Xianfeng," said Li Hanchen.
Li Hanzhe spread his hands, "This guy is extremely cautious, and so far, there's no direct evidence."
