Wufu's comforting words settled Madam Zhou's heart, and upon reflection, she found truth in them. Having always had her daughter stand in front of her, she could not shrink back now.
"Wufu, you'll be reaching the age of marriage in a few days, so don't go out. I will handle them!" Madam Zhou said with courage.
Wufu said with a smile, "Alright!"
Madam Zhou could step forward and be firm, which was a sight Wufu was pleased to see. After all, she herself was backing her mother up, so she could support her no matter what.
"Mother, go with ease, just remember that Wufu is behind you," Wufu encouraged with a smile, "As for reasoning, if it's someone with whom you can reason, then reason with them. If it's someone with whom you cannot, then use your fists. The old saying goes, 'When a scholar encounters a soldier, reason fails to get through; when words are of no avail, fists are the better argument!'"
