Leo and Astra were already battered, their bodies half-frozen and wracked by the sound waves, suffering in unimaginable pain.
Then, one Siren Head charged at full speed, slamming its fists into their chests—
BAM!!
Both Ultras were sent flying.
"Ugh… Astra, you okay?"
Leo clutched his chest and ears as he sat up, then hurriedly helped Astra to his feet.
"I'm fine… barely. They're insanely strong. Way tougher than anything we've faced before."
Astra was panting heavily, clearly in rough shape.
"We'll finish this in one go—use the Kaio-Ken I taught you!"
Leo clenched his fists. He couldn't afford to drag this out anymore. They needed to end it now.
"Got it!"
Astra nodded and focused, trying to channel the power through his body.
He wasn't that familiar with using Kaio-Ken yet—it required a moment of preparation.
While Astra powered up, Leo stepped forward, holding both hands up near his chest timer.
"RAAAAAHHH!!"
With a mighty roar, Leo's entire body ignited with a radiant aura.
The blinding light was so intense that the Siren Heads instinctively covered their eyes, unable to bear it.
"Kaio-Ken ×10!!"
Astra finally unleashed his power—all of his energy increased tenfold!
"Kaio-Ken ×10!!"
Leo followed suit, their powers now synchronized.
Astra knelt before Leo and raised his hands.
Leo pressed his palms against Astra's—and their combined energy surged outward.
Together, they unleashed the Ultra Double Beam!
A massive red double beam blasted toward the Siren Heads—who were still covering their eyes.
It should have been a perfect hit.
But then—something unexpected happened.
Right before the beam could land, a swirling distortion appeared in front of the Siren Heads—
The energy beam was sucked away into the spatial vortex!
"What?!"
Leo and Astra were stunned. What just happened?
From the fissure in the ground—one that Leo had blasted open earlier—a sixth Siren Head crawled out slowly.
It turned out this one had fallen underground during the earlier battle and hadn't been affected by Leo's blinding light.
Which meant… it was able to bend space and absorb the beam attack.
"No way!"
Leo and Astra stared in disbelief.
Then, with a flick of its hand, the Siren Head redirected the stolen energy—
Firing it straight back at Leo and Astra!
They quickly tried to dodge.
But the other five Siren Heads activated their freezing light again—
Their feet froze to the ground.
There was no escape.
They were about to be struck by their own ultimate attack—fired under Kaio-Ken ×10 no less.
If it hit them now… the result would be catastrophic.
Just as the beam closed in—
A giant red cloak suddenly appeared out of thin air.
It hovered between them and the oncoming blast.
The seemingly simple cloak completely blocked the Ultra Double Beam.
No matter how powerful the attack, it couldn't penetrate the cloak's defense!
"Huh?!"
Leo and Astra were dumbfounded as they stared at the mysterious cape shielding them.
Then, once the beam had been completely neutralized, the cloak floated toward Leo—
It touched his right arm and transformed into a bracelet that wrapped around his wrist.
"What is this…?"
Leo looked at the glowing wristband, confused.
"That's a gift. For the Prince of L77."
A calm, aged voice spoke.
They turned—and saw an elderly-looking Ultraman standing beside them.
"Who… are you? Are you an Ultraman too?"
Astra asked, wary.
"Me? By your standards, I suppose I am. They call me the King… I am The Ultra King."
The moment the name was spoken, both Leo and Astra froze in shock.
But Ultra King paid no attention to their surprise.
Instead, he turned to face the six Siren Heads before them.
"Hmph."
He extended both hands forward—palms glowing with divine light.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!!
In the next instant, all six Siren Heads erupted in sparks.
They staggered back in agony, their bodies twisting uncontrollably.
"Now!"
Ultra King called out—then stepped back.
Leo and Astra instantly rose.
"Kaio-Ken ×10! Ultra Double Beam!"
The brothers fired their ultimate attack again.
This time—nothing stood in its way.
The beam struck the Siren Heads head-on.
KABOOOOOOM!!!
A colossal explosion shook the heavens.
All six Siren Heads' horned heads were obliterated in one blast.
But the destruction didn't end there.
The entire island began to shake violently.
The land itself started to crack and crumble.
From above, it looked like the island was beginning to split apart.
Ultra King immediately raised his hands, unleashing energy to stabilize the terrain—restoring the island to its original state.
"Leo, Astra… the Kaio-Ken technique is quite interesting. It boosts your power tremendously. But if you lose control… the consequences could be disastrous."
Ultra King crossed his arms and warned them with a calm but firm tone.
"Sorry…"
Only now did Leo and Astra realize how dangerously overpowered their combined beam was in Kaio-Ken ×10.
If things had gone even slightly wrong, they wouldn't have just destroyed the island—they could've caused massive casualties.
They deeply regretted acting so recklessly.
Honestly, they didn't even need to use Kaio-Ken at the time.
They just wanted to end the fight quickly—to crush the Siren Heads completely.
"Thank you… Ultra King."
Leo bowed sincerely.
"Hmm. From here on, it's up to you. But be warned—this won't be the last danger you face. Something is happening. I don't know exactly what, but I can sense it… a wave of things that don't belong to this universe are starting to emerge."
Ultra King spoke solemnly.
He hadn't even touched a screen or data terminal.
But with his vast power, he sensed the presence of SCP anomalies—and it concerned him.
Still, he wouldn't interfere further.
As long as the younger generation of Ultras could handle things, he would leave it in their hands.
