Chapter 418 - Chapter 418

The sudden surge of electricity startled the family of four.

They quickly turned toward it—only to see a man clad in a bright red suit, with a container strapped to his back, standing right in front of them.

"Hello! Good morning,"

The newcomer—Barry—greeted them with an awkward wave.

"What do you want?!"

The father tried his best to stay calm and asked.

"Well, you might not believe this, but… that ketchup in your hand is actually a monster."

Barry snatched the bottle of ketchup before anyone could react.

Then he began shaking it up and down violently while discharging a powerful electric current into it.

Instead of bursting apart from the shock, the ketchup bottle… squirmed.

Its surface rippled and twisted, transforming into something that looked like a disgusting blob of slime.

This thing was trying to corrode Barry's hand.

However, Barry's gloves—and his whole suit—had been specially developed by Bruce Wayne, with high-level corrosion resistance.

"So this is the Hallucination Predator? Gross,"

Barry muttered, staring at the slime in his hand.

Then he glanced at the stunned family of four and looked even more embarrassed.

"Uh… everything's fine now. Bye!"

He waved quickly before vanishing in a flash of lightning.

Barry didn't stop with just one house.

Following the coordinates Bruce had given him, he repeated this method across all of Metropolis.

Numerous Hallucination Predators had landed in the city. The rest were scattered across other locations.

It would take a long time to round them all up.

But Barry's unmatched speed allowed him to hit several places per minute.

He rushed into people's homes, grabbed items that had been replaced by Hallucination Predators—right in front of their shocked owners.

Naturally, this led to countless awkward moments.

He once barged into a secret affair—where the predator had taken the form of… well, something very inappropriate. Barry had to snatch it from the guy's hands. Talk about awkward.

But the biggest headache wasn't the predators—it was the panic that followed.

After people saw their everyday household items turn into monsters, the news spread like wildfire.

In less than thirty minutes, all of Metropolis was in a state of mass hysteria.

People were terrified. No one could trust anything in their homes anymore.

Some even tried to track Barry, curious about where the next "incident" would occur.

How? By following the scorched lightning trails he left in his wake, of course.

"Bruce, I've caused a city-wide panic!"

Barry stood on a rooftop, contacting Bruce Wayne via comms.

He also tossed the latest captured Hallucination Predator into the containment box on his back.

"There's no helping that. You're the only one who can move fast enough to cut down the containment time."

Bruce Wayne was in a distant city, far from Metropolis, also busy capturing Hallucination Predators.

In one house, a family was watching TV and chatting—completely unaware that their bottle of body wash had just jumped into a mirror.

Mirror World.

The bottle had transformed into a Hallucination Predator.

Then, someone appeared out of thin air.

He wore the Ant-Man suit.

A voice came from inside the helmet—it was Bruce Wayne.

He pressed a button at his neck to open the mask, revealing the Night Knight helmet beneath.

Bruce Wayne had entered the Mirror World using the Night Knight's powers—while wearing the Ant-Man suit.

His plan was simple:

Enter the Mirror World, shrink down to locate the Hallucination Predator's true body in the real world, and then drag it into the Mirror World.

He tossed the creature into a specially prepared containment box.

The box already held several other Hallucination Predators.

"Alright. Next location," Bruce said.

He jumped onto the back of the Darkwing Bat.

In front of him, a screen displayed the locations of various Hallucination Predators.

Next to it, another screen showed Superman, Arthur, and Diana in a brutal battle… against a swarm of Siren Heads!

That was Bruce Wayne's idea: to lure the Siren Heads into the Mirror World to avoid collateral damage in the real one.

Making this happen had taken serious effort.

Initially, Bruce and the Darkwing Bat had caught the Siren Heads off guard and pulled them in easily.

But as time went on, the Siren Heads grew wary.

Now, Diana and the others had to act as bait, distracting the monsters so Bruce could open the portals.

Mirror World — A Small Town.

"RAAAAHHHH!!"

Diana shouted as she swung the Sword of Promised Victory, unleashing a barrage of meteor-like sword beams.

The projectiles rained down on the Siren Heads ahead of her.

The Siren Heads retaliated with intense sonic blasts.

The sword beams exploded mid-air, disintegrated by the deafening soundwaves before they could even reach their targets.

Meanwhile, Arthur stood to the side, water swirling around his hand.

He hurled the water forward with all his might.

"Fish-Man Karate! Water Shot!"

The blast shot out like a water cannon.

He didn't stop there—next to him was a basin of water.

He dipped both hands in and began spinning them rapidly like windmills, flinging water nonstop.

BOOM! BOOM!

Several Siren Heads were hit.

The water blasts smashed into their loudspeaker heads with devastating force.

The attacks caved in the front of their horns—severely damaging their primary weapons.

Without their horns, they were crippled and staggered, unable to continue fighting.

"HYAAAH!!"

Diana seized the moment.

She slashed again and again, sending wave after wave of glowing sword beams that struck the injured Siren Heads in the face.

The additional damage completely neutralized their powers.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!

Suddenly, a building behind Arthur was demolished by a violent crash.

Two Siren Heads were barreling toward him at full speed.

They reached him—and threw simultaneous punches!

With their velocity and brute strength, those punches would have flattened Arthur…

But just before they landed—CRACK!

Both Siren Heads' legs were struck, throwing them off balance.

They crashed face-first into the ground.

"Nice one!"

Arthur looked across the street.

Neptunemon spun his trident on the road, having tripped them just in time.

Then, two beams of light rained down from above—blasting the two Siren Heads in the head and destroying their horns.

The source? Clark in the sky.

He had formed his hands into a triangle—firing a Kamehameha-style energy cannon.

This technique packed more punch than his regular heat vision, making it ideal for destroying Siren Head's sound emitters.

But then, Clark noticed his body starting to crumble… turning into grains of sand.

"This is bad! Bruce, our time in the Mirror World is up!"
