Chapter 174 - Chapter : 171 : One Of The Four Demon Generals At This Level?!

Sebastian quickly converted the plains around the town into a forward operating base. In addition to various technological buildings, he also built many defensive structures to prevent problems before they occurred.

While Sebastian was making preparations, Ristarte was lying on the grass, bored.

"What a strange fellow." Ristarte's attention was locked on Sebastian, eager to know him on a deeper level. But at that moment, she heard a strange sound of footsteps and felt a dreadful, murderous aura.

"It's you; it must be so." A bizarre-looking woman walked up to Ristarte and Sebastian.

She had jet-black hair and a big bust. Her attire consisted of a revealing swimsuit that exposed a lot of skin, followed by pantyhose and blue heels. Instead of normal feet, she had goat-like hooves. Her face resembled that of a goat (horns included), and she had hair on her body. She also sported goat horns and a tail, resembling a centaur-like human-beast crossbreed.

Her sleepy, red eyes usually wore a smug smile. She had what appeared to be a tattoo around her belly button. In the manga, she had pale white skin, while in the anime, it was depicted with a shade of purple.

"Who are you?!" Ristarte immediately stood up and looked at the stranger vigilantly.

"For our first meeting, Mrs. Goddess and Mr. Hero, I am Chaos Machina, one of the Four Demon Generals in the Demon King Army," said the uninvited guest.

Looking at Chaos before him, Sebastian narrowed his eyes. He remembered her; as one of the Four Demon Generals of the Demon King, she possessed very potent power.

"Why did a Demon General appear here?!" Panic flashed in Ristarte's eyes. This was a place like a Novice Village; how could there be such a BOSS-level figure?

"Be terrified." A smug smile appeared on Chaos's face. "Our Lord has foreseen the coming of the hero. Generally, the summoned hero will choose a location where the monsters are weaker, so I came here ahead of time and hunkered down."

Her smile grew more pronounced as Ristarte used her power to see the other party's data.

"This—this is not the stats of ordinary monsters..." The expression on Ristarte's face grew more solemn, and she couldn't help but break into a sweat.

If it were before, she and the hero would likely have already fallen here. But at this moment, Ristarte noticed that Chaos's expression changed to one of surprise and doubt.

"What is this? Did you create this?" At this time, Chaos focused on the buildings, and the more she looked, the more abnormal she felt.

This was different from the usual structures. Chaos didn't understand what it was, but her intuition told her that Sebastian was very dangerous.

"Looks like the hero who must be dealt with!" While she spoke, she swung the giant sword in her hand, and a gust of wind tore through the ground with just the sword's energy.

Ristarte gulped. Such a monster was stronger than the final boss she had encountered before.

And when she felt timid, Sebastian said with a smile, "Sorry, you found the wrong person. I am not the hero. If you're going to trouble me now, I will be very agitated."

"Hahaha!" Hearing Sebastian's words caused the smile on Chaos's face to widen. "You say you're not a hero?! The goddess next to you has revealed your identity. Did you choose to lie to save your life? You are unlike other heroes, but it is a wise choice."

"But whether you are a true hero or not, you must die here today." Chaos's expression became more ferocious, and the muscles in her face began to tense.

However, her intuition warned her that facing the hero this time, she should not be careless and needed to handle her opponent decisively. She held the sword in her hand and swung heavily toward his abdomen.

"Just to be on the safe side, I have decided to kill you here so you can see my full power." Chaos's body dropped limply to the ground; black, turbid blood spurted out, and the giant sword in her hand flew several meters away.

Soon, her body began to swell, and her flesh and blood twisted and deformed. In the end, she revealed her true form—a demon standing four or five meters tall.

"This—this stat is too high..." Seeing that Chaos's data began to double, Ristarte panicked.

She had never seen such an entity. This was probably beyond even ordinary gods to defeat. At this moment, Ristarte's face was filled with fear, and she looked to Sebastian for help.

"Do not worry." Looking at the child-like Ristarte beside him, Sebastian shook his head helplessly. "This kind of mob can be dealt with casually; I don't even need to make a move myself."

"You said that I, one of the Four Demon Generals, am an insignificant person?!" After hearing Sebastian's words, Chaos was filled with rage, and her hooves sank deeply into the ground.

At this time, Sebastian had already turned around, facing away from her.

"Esdeath, make her quiet for a while," Sebastian said.

"Happy to oblige." At this moment, Esdeath stepped out from the other side, her high-heeled shoes making a crisp sound as they touched the ground.

"Is this the helper of the hero?" Chaos narrowed her eyes and glared at Esdeath. "Die!"

In the next second, she was already in front of Esdeath. But just as she was about to reach out and cut off Esdeath's head, she found that she couldn't move.

"What—what's going on?" She looked down, only to realize that her hands and legs had been frozen and she couldn't move. "Why—how did it…?!"

It was only at this moment that she felt a sense of ominous premonition in her mind. This was no ordinary ice; even as a demon, she couldn't break free.

"It's a blessing to have the chance to fight against gods and demons," Esdeath said with a smile. "I have seen the power of the gods, and some of them are useless. As a demon, can you give me a little fun? Don't die so easily~"

Esdeath walked toward Chaos step by step, but the latter felt that the woman in front of her was the real demon. "Don't come here!"
