The car rolled to a slow stop near a narrow stretch of road that twisted through tall trees and shadows. There were no shops, no homes around, Nora watched the wilderness and the dimming hues of twilight. The sky was turning darker now, streaked with indigo, soon there would be no traffic left on the roads.
"Stop the car for a while, I am not feeling well." she held her stomach and her face contorted as if she was suffering too much pain. The driver hesitated as he looked around.
"This place did not look safe, madam. How about you rest and I will stop the car when we reach our destination?" Nora shook her head. Her face looked pale as she clutched her stomach.
"It would only take a minute, I want to vomit." The man hesitated but he did not have a choice when she started to retch hard.
He stopped the car and parked it in the corner. Nora stepped out of the car, her heels crunching faintly on the gravel.
