Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: Brawling Go!

Skysin and the girl quickly turned around, facing a tall woman with short black hair that swept over her neck. Dressed in a black leather jacket and pants with boots. She looked like a biker you'd see in the streets, almost.

However, Skysin and the little girls' eyes simply couldn't look away from something that the tall woman had. To be specific, the ample bosom of hers, hiding behind the near unzipped jacket she wore.

"….."

'Big…' Skysin and the girl both thought to themselves.

Footsteps could be heard, slowly walking from behind Skysin and his crimson-eyed comrade. Which were the two men they had just previously seen. Skysin took notice of this, his violet eyes nearly squinting, 'crap. It'd be best to run away now.'

Just as Skysin was about to get a hold of the little girl's hand and take off, he felt something wrap around his ankles in a split second. Skysin looked down, coming to see a pair of shackles made of rock, forged from the ground, holding him still.

Skysin merely sighed in his mind, '…. fart nuggets...'

Elsewhere, back in Ternal City, Alzar and Valentine were walking down the bustling street area. Valentine checked her bags full of ingredients, "looks like I got everything now. I should probably go and see where that boy ran off to."

After Valentine handed Alzar all the groceries, he looked over to the giant treeline, separating Ternal City from the rest of the huge island. "Sin did look pretty interested in those Pericks earlier. Maybe he ran over to Pericks Stoop," Alzar replied, giving a small chuckle.

Valentine rubbed her head, combing her slender fingers through her long hair, "…hopefully that boy isn't trying to eat them." Valentine sighed, knowing how unpredictable Skysin can be at times, "I'll go grab that child, we'll meet you at the house, and thank you." Valentine walked off, waving the back of her hand to Alzar.

"No problem."

Back at Pericks Stoop, both Skysin and the little girl are shackled to the rocky floor under them. The three poachers stood over the kids, eyeing them. The woman, crossed her arms under her chest, aggravated, "you brats really came at a bad time, that's for sure."

Skysin poked his lips out, furrowing his thin eyebrows, "y'know, it's illegal for non-natives to hunt on Ternal Island."

"Damn," the fat man had spat, "I completely forgot about that. We get caught; we'll be in the slammer for damn near five years just because of this!"

The woman whacked the back of his head, his fat stomach subtly bouncing from the force.

"Jeez, relax, will ya?? We'll kill off the birds, get what we need and head back to Grazanopolis. Simple as that," the woman quickly explained.

Skysin laughed, pointing at the trio, "HA! You dummy; you just told us the entire plan!"

The little girl nodded in agreement.

The three poachers had tensed up, simply looking at each other with a dumb expression, wide eyed. They're really getting clowned by a couple of kids right now. Quite the day it's turning out for them.

"Fuck it, we're offing the kids too, no witnesses," the tall woman grumbled, glaring at the kids.

"Got it," the two men nodded in sync.

Skysin's cocky smile quickly went upside-down.

Things are just taking a turn for the worst apparently.

However, Skysin came to feel a horrid pressure, radiating from his right. Looking, he came to see the little girl, glaring at the three adults with those crimson cat-like eyes of hers. Body coated in shadow-like aura, creeping from her like a pit of blackened snakes.

Light had shined from her small hand, and quickly materialized into a short sword, holding it in her palm. It appears that this girl's chaotic art is being able to create weapons from absolutely nothing.

"Uh-oh! This little brat's a killer alright!" The skinny man had cackled, slapping his knee.

Skysin eyed the girl, knowing that she was dead set on beating these guys. 'Looks like we don't really have a choice…' Skysin thought to himself, already deducing there's nothing else they can do in this situation or at least try to find a way to elude the fight.

Skysin did the same, making his frigid aura quickly encase his body.

The adults grew a bit wary, surprised the kids were serious about this. The red-eyed girl had twisted her wrist, the blade facing them, "die." The girl quietly spoke, slicing through the shackles in a flash, and lunged right at the woman, swinging the sword right to her face.

The woman hastily conjured a terra sword in a split second, just barely blocking the attack. As the woman held the girls own blade back, she was in complete shock, 'why's this girl so strong??' The woman asked herself.

Skysin quickly acted, breaking from his shackles and leaping into a backflip. Skysin landed the bottom of his shoe onto the fat man's face, perfectly, and hard.

The skinny man's eyes nearly popped from his sockets, "how the fuck did he move so fast??!"

Skysin propped himself atop of the fat man's face, and leapt right to the other at high speed, swinging a punch right onto his chin, sending him straight into a wall back first.

The woman and little girl were neck and neck, both releasing a multitude of slashes at each other. But the woman couldn't fully focus, she was simply too appalled.

'This doesn't make any sense...' The woman thought to herself, blocking another attack from the aggressive child, 'the brat doesn't look any older than five or six, how the hell is her sword technique so polished???'

The girl landed onto the ground, and quickly made another sword appear into her free hand, returning to her stance in the art of weapons. A duel-wield.

'Could she be from the Wingshade Galaxy?? I heard that most children from there are prodigies in swordsmanship. No... that's impossible. We're all the way in the Vinteel Galaxy. That's over trillions of light years away from us!!' The woman pondered to herself, her body tense, waiting for the girl's next move.

The girl dashed, fixing her blade, and sweeping it right to the woman's knee, aiming right at the joint area.

The woman quickly brought her leg back and pivoted to the side of the girl. She raised her sword high, slamming it right to the girl's head.

The girl recovered in a split second, raising the swords above her head for a parry. The opposing weapon had perfectly slid down the dual blades like butter.

'What the fuck??? She knows the allpraid technique??!!'

The girl swiftly went for a counter. She flipped into a spin, landing a kick onto the woman's chest, knocking her back.

The woman recovered fixing her posture, her hands tight on the rough grip of her terra sword, thinking to herself, 'luckily, her chaotic energy doesn't seem to be in the same caliber of mine... Thank Malerenz she's still practically a toddler.'

Raising a hand forward, the woman released multiple lances from the ground, aimed right at the girl.

The girl made darkness gyrate around her body in an instant, each tentacle of shadows taking a lance down with ease.

"Little brat..." The woman growled, pushing both her arms out, firing a huge boulder right at the girl.

The girl quickly leapt to her right, dodging it with ease. However, that same giant piece of rock now had a new name for someone else.

As Skysin was fending off the men, he took notice of the boulder, "what the-!"

Skysin hastily turned back to the skinny man, making a fighting pose. "Rillem Technique: BALL SHATTER!!!"

Skysin kicked his foot straight in between the skinny man's legs, executing a nasty shot to the family jewels!

"OOOUHH!!!" The skinny man had howled like a dying wolf, holding onto his own peanut gallery, his face looking as if his soul was flying right from his mouth.

Skysin leapt straight over the boulder as it crashed right into the skinny man, colliding into a nearby formation of rock in the burrow.

"Shit, Berel!!" The fat man shouted, firing an onslaught of sharpened water pellets at Skysin.

Skysin leapt from one side of the wall, to the other, then the ceiling, like a supersonic sling toy. Skysin shot to the ground under a millisecond, grinning, "you're too slow!!"

Skysin speed blizted the man, sending a knee right onto his blubbery stomach, knocking him away.

Skysin landed, wiping sweat from his forward. However, he came to feel a presence behind him.

Hordes of wind shot from the boulder, breaking it down with no problem. The skinny man, Berel, slowly walked from the crater, wiping blood from his lips, his clothing ripped and ragged. "You little shit..." He grumbled, raising his hands and firing arches of wind right at the speedster.

Skysin made ice shroud his small hands, blocking each crescent of wind that came shrieking at him. However, the fat man quickly appeared behind Skysin, sweeping a kick right to his head.

Skysin did quick work, bending his arm in to block the attack. He was fast enough to perform it, but wasn't strong enough to fully absorb the attack, being shot back deeper into the burrow.

The girl took notice of this, and just as she was about to aid Skysin, the woman tripped her.

Just before the girl was about to hit the ground, the woman brought an uppercut right onto the girl's stomach, knocking her to where Skysin is, rolling and sliding against the floor.

Skysin had assisted the girl, helping her back to her feet. But the children were at a huge disadvantage now. Stuck in a dead end, nowhere else to run, and the three poachers slowly approached them.

'Welp...this ain't good. Mom's gonna kill me...' Skysin winced in his head.

The woman chuckled, her the blade of her terra sword scrapping against the ground, "you brats really caused us some trouble. But it's over now..."

Skysin and the girl had tensed up, but they didn't give up. Both ready to die trying, if need be. They didn't have any other choice but this.

"Oh my...honey, what're you doing in there?" A woman's soft, calm voice had called out from behind the poachers.

They all came to espy a single woman, approaching them from behind. Her long, silver yet slightly pink hair plaited in two loosely fat braids, draped over her small shoulders. Supple and smooth rosy skin, having a simple mole under her plump lips. And those eyes, those piercing feline eyes are the color of a freshly sliced watermelon.

Standing at the same height as Skysin's own mother and has quite a beautiful figure herself. Attired in long sleeved toga, the wide, open collar falling at an angle, held under the wide platinum belt that hugged her narrow waist. One side of her dress nearly revealed her wide hip, and round thigh with a band wrapped around it. All while the other was completely covered, falling on her diamond slippers. Two dangling earrings shined from the light behind her, and fat platinum bands on her wrists.

This was no average woman by any chance, no. She looked as if she didn't belong in the mortal world. Truly, a Greek goddess in the flesh.

Skysin, however, noticed something a bit strange, 'I can't sense her energy.... like mom and grandpa Al...'

Skysin wasn't the only one to notice though, the woman's brown eyes had glared at the mysterious newcomer, yet not in anger.

It was fear.

'How strong is she...?' The woman asked herself.

The little girls' crimson eyes had shined a particular light, like a cat that sees something they like or want. "Mommy!!" She called out, her chirpy voice nearly shaking the burrow.

The woman had disappeared and reappeared before the kids in what seemed to be an instant.

The three poachers, and Skysin were in complete a state of shock. They were just looking dead at her. None of them could follow her movements. It was like she teleported from one side to the other in an instant. Not even Skysin could perceive her.

The silver-haired woman bent down, picking her baby girl up into her arms, kissing her cheek. "Girl, you have no idea how worried sick I was!" She sighed, "...now, are these people attacking you?"

"Yes mama!" The girl quickly hugged onto her mother's neck, pointing at the three individuals, "they're meanies! They tried to kill us!"

"I see..." The woman spoke tersely, her tone a bit rough. Her sharp eyes scoping right onto the poachers.

Just as the woman turned to face them, Skysin heard a very familiar voice.

"Sin?! Why're you in here??"

Skysin looked straight ahead, coming to see the very woman he loves, yet feared so much.

Valentine.

"Mama!!" Skysin shouted, "these guys attacked us!!"

Valentine took in his words, and echoed a certain one in her head, 'us?'

Her violet eyes went onto the little girl, then the woman holding her. Valentine felt as if everything she ate today would come back up.

Albeit she didn't let that stop her. Valentine had appeared right before Skysin, then came to see the Pericks still tied, and a bit beaten. "You made a grand mistake," Valentine glowered.

The three poachers backed away with the woman raising their hands, pleading, "wait!! Please, it was just a simple misunderstanding!!"

The silver-haired woman sat her child down, then her and Valentine both raised a finger, aimed at the three, not speaking a word.

A white and black line had fired, disintegrating the three in an instant, into nothingness.

Valentine turned to Skysin, holding pulling his head into her thighs, "I thought I told you not to go far out??"

Skysin hugged his mother, "sorry ma...but they were planning to hurt the birdies."

Valentine had softened a bit, eyeing the Pericks, then looked to the mysterious woman, who gave her a warm smile.

Yet Valentine didn't show any emotion, 'I can't act out when the kids are here... It'll be better to play things cool.' She thought to herself, trying to control her emotions.

After releasing the birds, they rubbed their large heads against Skysin, cooing away in gratefulness.

As they all began to leave, the little girl with crimson eyes stayed behind. She had other plans in mind, and she wanted that fried bird.

Just as the little girl was about to make her move, a pair of hands had wrapped around her small body. "Oh no you don't, missy," Her mother chuckled, lifting the child into her arms.

The little girl could only whine, dissatisfied, raising her hand out to the birds as they slowly grew further away.

Walking through the giant rough plains of rock, the setting sun gave the sky a beautiful color of pink and orange, fused together. The breeze flowing, serene and calm.

The woman had bowed towards Valentine, "I must say, you're quite strong."

Bowing is a sign of respect within the omiverse. Something that warriors and strong individuals show towards a person that they find formidable.

Valentine bowed as well, keeping a front of her much more erratic thoughts. "Thank you, I can say the same for yourself. What is your name...if I may ask?"

"My name is Sera," the woman responded, "and yours?"

'Why're you lying...' Valentine growled in her thoughts. Yet, she still replied, "It's Valentine."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, 'Valentine'", Sera had replied, yet there was something about her tone that was... off. Sera crouched before Skysin, "and what a beautiful boy you are, you look just like your mommy. What's your name?" Sera chuckled.

The speedster grinned, "I'm Skysin."

Sera rubbed his head, "thank you for helping my daughter. You're quite the talented child, hm?"

"It's no problem Ms. Sera, she's the one that really helped me out."

Sera giggled, and stood, turning to her child that stood behind her toga dress, "why don't you introduce yourself honey?"

The girl merely nodded in silence.

Sera chuckled, rubbing her head with a sigh, "I apologize for my daughter, she's quite the introvert. Her name is Cleonatra."

Valentine gave a small smile, "it's quite fine, a pretty name for an adorable girl."

Skysin and Cleonatra had eyed each other once more, a certain light twinkling in their eyes.

Valentine patted Skysin's head. She needed to get him away from Sera, without causing a ruckus, much less dragging them into this little...farce.

"Alright Sin, let's head back home."

"Alright mama!"

Valentine turned to face Sera, who was rubbing her cheek against her daughters, "...Malerenz, you're so cute!"

Valentine kept her calm, giving a wave goodbye. "Well Sera, we'll be off. You take care. And you as well, Miss Cleonatra."

Cleonatra spoke quietly, "you too, pretty lady..."

As Valentine and Skysin began to head off, Sera's voice had rung out, "may our paths cross once more in this beautiful omiverse, Valentine."

Valentine had hastily turned around, coming to see that Sera and Cleonatra were gone already, like a phantom. She felt cold, a bit stiff.

Skysin had tugged on his mother's finger, "everything okay ma?"

Valentine fixed herself, rubbing Skysin's head, "ye-yes dear, I'm alright."

As they walked, Valentine could only think to herself, scrutinizing the situation, 'maybe it'd be the best option for this.' Valentine sighed in her heart, already knowing what will have to be done in the near-approaching future, for Skysin.
