After 4 days of forests and desert lands, we arrived in the Balkan kingdom's royal capital.
"What do you think of my homeland, Cassian?" my mother asked.
"It's beautiful, from the diverse climates to the rivers and mountains, and the amount of wild and tamed beasts all around is amazing!"
"Of course, long ago the Grayheaven, Balkan, and Astrad kingdoms were all one Empire, headed by the strongest man in history, the Empire spanned the whole continent and ruled it for 800 years! my ancestors and your father's ancestors helped the first and final emperor to unite the lands and banish the invaders."
"Mother, are your family beastmen?" I asked as a memory came to mind.
"Proudly so! My father is the king of all beastmen tribes and one of the Balkan kingdom's guardian warriors! Your eldest uncle is the royal mage and your other uncles are all accomplished swordsmen! that's why I wanted to bring you here to learn from all of them and carry on our family's ways."
