"Who is knocking at the door?" Claudia Ross asked.
"I don't know. Let me check. Keep an eye on me."
Wyatt Perry said as he placed his cellphone on the bedside table, got up, put on his robe, tightened the belt around his waist, and walked towards the door.
Upon opening the door, he saw Charmoline Barton standing outside in a panic, and his brow furrowed.
"Sir, Esmee has a high fever. You need to take her to the hospital quickly!"
Hearing this, Wyatt Perry rushed to the children's room and indeed saw Esmee Perry lying on the bed, her cheeks bright red.
His large hand touched her forehead; it was burning hot.
Wyatt Perry was about to call the family doctor when Esmee suddenly convulsed. He quickly picked her up, not even bothering to change his clothes, and rushed outside.
A child's fever convulsions could easily damage the brain. Waiting for the family doctor might be too late, so Wyatt Perry himself took Esmee to the hospital.
