Chapter 544 - Chapter 544: Collapsing and Withering Power

However, despite Alexander not being skilled in combat, Robert had to admit that Alexander's defense, recovery, and vitality were terrifying. He far surpassed those avatars Robert had destroyed. Even after such a long fight, Alexander had only sustained minor injuries!

One could even say that Alexander's life level had surpassed Robert's, not to mention those Hell Lord avatars Robert had encountered before.

It could only be said that Alexander was indeed worthy of being the one who granted power to both werewolves and vampires. His vitality far exceeded that of werewolves and vampires. In just a short skirmish, Robert realized how difficult it was to kill this guy...

"Then let's waste some time! This guy doesn't have much resistance anyway; just treat him as a good punching bag..." With this thought, Robert increased the energy and strength in his fists, continuing to pummel Alexander.

"Damn it!" At this point, Alexander was infuriated. In this situation, he not only wanted to escape but also wanted to retaliate against Robert. However, even though he was stronger than Robert in terms of raw power, his combat awareness and skills were far inferior. He couldn't effectively use his strength at all.

Even when Alexander tried to forcefully unleash his power to push back Robert, he couldn't. Every time Alexander attempted to gather his strength, Robert would sense it and send a burst of energy into Alexander's body, turning into a current that paralyzed him momentarily. Then Robert would land a heavy blow, interrupting Alexander's charge-up.

In other words, with a combination of paralysis and staggering attacks, Alexander was rendered helpless, unable to unleash his full power and continuously beaten like a punching bag...

As Robert increased his strength and his combat power rose, Alexander gradually sensed a looming threat of death. He began to regret not having learned combat techniques over the past millennium. If he had mastered some combat skills, he wouldn't be in such a miserable state now. With his superior power, he might have even turned the tables on Robert.

Unaware of Alexander's thoughts, Robert only knew that this battle would be longer than he had initially anticipated. Although it wasn't the evenly matched or grueling fight he had expected, the prolonged engagement still felt satisfying. After all, even Earth couldn't withstand Robert's full-force attacks...

As long as Alexander didn't have any other tricks up his sleeve, this fight, though lengthy, would eventually have a clear outcome...

Meanwhile, in another mirrored space, ordinary vampires and werewolves didn't react much since they were busy dealing with the Avengers. They had no time to notice the changes in their surroundings. Most vampires and werewolves were oblivious to the environmental changes.

But William, Marcus, and the vampire prince were different. When they realized the changes around them, their expressions changed. William and Marcus were even severely injured by Kara and the Martian Manhunter due to their distraction.

"Spatial magic? You want to catch us all at once?" Marcus gritted his teeth, looking at the Martian Manhunter. "Do you really think our two clans are so easy to deal with?"

"Oh? And what's your trump card? That guy following you around but too afraid to show himself?" The Martian Manhunter sneered. Initially, he hadn't sensed Alexander's presence, but when Robert pursued him and Alexander fled, the Martian Manhunter noticed everything clearly.

Even though Alexander's burst of power was formidable, the Martian Manhunter wasn't worried that Robert would lose. This wasn't just because Robert had previously defeated him despite being weaker but also because Robert wasn't alone. If things went south, the man known as the God on Earth would step in!

The Martian Manhunter didn't know Clark's current level of power, but considering Robert's rapid progress, he believed Clark's power growth wouldn't be slow either...

Thus, the Martian Manhunter felt that Alexander had no chance of making waves, and naturally, he didn't think Marcus had any powerful trump cards.

"Our ancestor..." Hearing the Martian Manhunter's words, Marcus felt a chill. Previously, when William had been struck twice, Alexander hadn't shown himself, making Marcus uneasy. Now, even in this spatial magic trap, Alexander still hadn't appeared, causing Marcus to lose his confidence.

However, Marcus quickly remembered Alexander's power. In Marcus's view, Robert's strength was formidable, enough to defeat him and William instantly, but such power shouldn't intimidate Alexander!

Marcus had witnessed Alexander's power before. That terrifying aura, even without considering its suppressive effect, was far stronger than Robert's!

Thinking of this, Marcus regained some confidence. He took a deep breath and said to the Martian Manhunter, "That's because you haven't seen our ancestor's true power. That man who chased after us might be stronger than us, but he's definitely not a match for our ancestor. Once our ancestor deals with him, it will be your turn to die!"

"Oh, I see. Got it." Confirming that Marcus had no other trump cards besides Alexander, the Martian Manhunter relaxed and sped up his attack on Marcus.

In the Martian Manhunter's view, as long as Marcus couldn't draw on the power of a dimension like those bat-werewolf hybrids, he was no threat. Even if Marcus could use similar techniques as the vampire duke earlier, the Martian Manhunter wouldn't care.

After all, the Martian Manhunter didn't have vampire blood. Even if that power could suppress vampire bloodlines and affect the source of their power, it wouldn't work on him, especially since it didn't seem to enhance combat ability. The Martian Manhunter had nothing to fear.

"Shhh!" Thinking this, the Martian Manhunter's heat vision pierced through Marcus's body, burning his wounds, making them difficult to heal, similar to how Jonny Stone used explosive flames against weaker vampires and werewolves.

Of course, if the Martian Manhunter used silver or other vampire-specific weapons, he could inflict more damage. But he preferred using his own power.

Especially now that the battle in the mirrored space wasn't too intense, the Martian Manhunter didn't need to rush to finish his opponents...

After the mirrored space was created, external machines and weapons against vampires and werewolves were transported in, gradually turning the tide in favor of the Avengers. They started to suppress the vampires and werewolves.

Even the strongest enemy among the Avengers, the vampire prince, was no longer holding the upper hand, as the disciples of Kamar-Taj, prompted by Kaecilius, had joined the fight.

Although the Kamar-Taj disciples couldn't control every part of the mirrored space, they could use it to disrupt the enemies. Not just the vampire prince, but ordinary vampires and werewolves couldn't adapt to the sudden environmental changes, with many being forcibly buried or falling into the sea.

Even in a supernatural battle, such environmental shifts had a huge impact. Not every supernatural being could maintain their combat power regardless of their surroundings...

"Boom!" In another battlefield within the mirrored space, Kara punched William, sending him flying. She followed up with heat vision, driving William through several mountains and embedding him in the ground.

"Cough, cough, cough!" William was in a sorry state. He had never been beaten so badly by an outsider, only suffering such injuries when punished by Alexander's wrath.

Even when Robert had struck him three times earlier, the injuries weren't this severe. Now, the burns from the heat vision made it difficult for William to heal, weakening him further.

Additionally, the mirrored space lacked a moon, preventing William and the entire werewolf clan from enhancing their strength through moonlight, depriving them of a chance for a final counterattack.

While moonlight power was mysterious, it wasn't as dominant as dimensional power. Werewolves passively absorbed moonlight, and not even William could actively harness it.

William had once considered studying moonlight power, believing it was his chance to surpass Marcus and break free from Alexander's control.

But despite his efforts, he made no progress, leaving him frustrated. Realizing that being distracted in combat was dangerous, William tried to refocus, but before he could, Kara appeared in front of him.

"Boom!" Kara's iron fist struck William's face, further embedding him in the ground, and the land around him crumbled under her force.

In the mirrored space, Kara didn't hold back. Her punch was just the beginning. She continued to pummel William, turning him into a bloody mess and punching through the space's crust, sending him into the lava below.

The intense heat of the lava had no effect on Kara's steel-like body or her suit, but William was different.

If he were uninjured, the 2000-degree heat wouldn't harm him. But now, he couldn't resist the lava's damage, unable to heal from Kara's attacks, let alone withstand the lava.

"Sizzle!" As William soaked in the lava, his fur burned away, and his flesh became more disfigured. His aura rapidly weakened, and he wouldn't last long.

"Buzz!" At that moment, William's body suddenly shrank, his power seemingly vanishing, and his body was consumed by the lava, leaving no trace.

However, Kara immediately noticed an anomaly. A ball of energy emerged from the lava and vanished instantly.

"Whoosh!" Kara also disappeared, reappearing in the mirrored space's sky. The energy ball was attacking the space, and Kara, with a determined look, punched the energy, intending to destroy it.

"Bang!"

"Crack!"

Unexpectedly, the energy ball used her power to break through a space node, disappearing.

"Hmm?" Kara hesitated, not understanding what had happened. The energy's power didn't match William's previous releases, and she wasn't familiar with this phenomenon.

Simultaneously, Marcus, fighting the Martian Manhunter, was also struggling. His breath weakened, and his consciousness grew fuzzy.

This was due to the Martian Manhunter's mental pressure. Marcus was skilled in mental power, but against the Martian Manhunter,
