It was already very late at night and Avner couldn't sleep, his thought kept wondering at what his cousin had said

something just seemed suspicious about this whole thing, something just didn't add up. He still remembers last night, he felt horrible but then fell asleep and the pain was gone. Why ? How ?
Anver could feel how his fever was raising again and at a quick peace, pain was slowly making its presence known, his throat started feeling like it hasn't touched water in weeks
Avner closed his eyes trying to fall asleep in hopes the pain will go away just like the last time but it didn't
Avner was feeling horrible, he didn't know if he could survive that night. In his almost unconscious state he heard footsteps, someone was trying to get to him. It could be an assassin so he tried his best to stay alert. He didn't know if he could fight in this state but his worries were soon to turn into relief. He felt a cool energy enter his body, he didn't need to turn around to know who it was, because he knew it was his beloved master. She sat down facing his back. Even though she had never once touched him, Avner felt like this moment was intimate. He wished he could stay up some more and enjoy her company but he soon fell asleep….
