After all, nestled somewhere in the chamber lay a telerportation circle that led him directly to his underground vault underneath Saratoga.
This underground vault—and everything inside of it—was naturally his reward after completing all the trials of the Raven Inheritance in the past.
A brilliant light flashed in a small corner of the cavernous underground chamber. Moments later, Adam appeared on a patch of cold stone, etched with intricate runes forming a mystical circle.
The raven-haired youth felt disoriented for a split moment. He shook his head slightly and then took in his surroundings.
Instantly, a wide smile appeared on his face.
"So sweet, so beautiful, so perfect."
No matter what storms raged outside, whenever Adam came here and glanced at the mounds of treasure sprawled out before him, his heart would bloom with pretty flowers.
