Jiang Yi follows the instructions Bai Cai gave him and drives to the studio to pick up the plant. A short fat man wearing an ill fitting gray uniform is napping with his head on the desk in the guard station and Jiang Yi raps his knuckles on the window.
Startled by the noise the guard almost falls off the stool and sees a young man he doesn't recognize. Annoyed from being suddenly awakened for the second time tonight, he snaps, "The studio is closed for the night. Come back tomorrow."
Jiang Yi holds up his identification, "I am Director Huang's technical assistant. I left something in his office."
The disgruntled man puts on a jacket then pulls up the collar and opens the door. A gust of cold wind hits him and looks at the snow falling. Dammit! If I have to come out one more time I am going to catch a cold.
He reluctantly fiddles with a set of keys with his pudgy fingers then opens the door and follows Jiang Yi inside. "I will wait for you here."
