The material mentions that the Ghost King of Mount Oe is linked to Mount Ibuki. Shuten Douji was likely born on Mount Ibuki and later established himself on Mount Oe.
In other words, Mount Ibuki is Shuten's hometown.
Additionally, the Ibuiki Shrine in Shiga Prefecture and the Ibuiki Shrine in Gifu Prefecture have compiled some old reports.
There is some conflict between the two.
The Ibuiki Shrine claims that Shuten Douji is the progeny of Ibuki Daimyojin; while the Ibuiki Shrine claims that Shuten Douji is Ibuki Daimyojin himself.
