They had gained a small advantage with the questioning of the first witness.
The second witness was Hans Geoffrey's psychiatrist, who was also the defense witness brought in by Purple Summers.
The psychiatrist could not testify about the events of the night in question, but could speak to Hans Geoffrey's mental state.
