The return of its core allowed Necrozma to regain its sanity. The devastated land before it, ruined by its own actions, filled it with deep remorse.
At this moment, its radiance shone over the entire Ultra Space, reviving vitality across the realm. All the Ultra Beasts in this space noticed its presence, lifting their heads to gaze up at it, their eyes filled with reverence.
Time passed for two to three hours before Ultra Necrozma finally subdued its brilliance and slowly descended from the sky.
By this time, apart from a few Team Rocket grunts who had been beaten so badly by Yuga's Pokémon and Phoebe's team that they couldn't get up, the likes of Giovanni had long since fled without a trace.
Yuga and Phoebe gathered together, watching Ultra Necrozma slowly flying toward them, feeling somewhat nervous in their hearts.
"Humans!"
Necrozma's voice echoed in everyone's minds—it was telepathy.
At this point, Solgaleo had finally recovered from its injuries for the most part. Strictly speaking, it had only recovered so quickly thanks to Ultra Necrozma's assistance.
Solgaleo flew into the air and called out to Ultra Necrozma. Ultra Necrozma nodded at it, its gaze full of apology, as if silently expressing regret for its past actions.
The communication between the two Legendary Pokemon was silent. After that, Ultra Necrozma looked toward Yuga and the others.
"Humans, thank you for your help. I didn't expect that the ones who harmed me before were humans, and now, the ones who helped me are also humans."
Ultra Necrozma's tone was filled with emotion, but there was not the slightest bit of resentment, nor did it take out its anger on others due to the betrayal it had suffered from the people of Ultra Megalopolis.
That's probably the kind of broad-minded being it is!
Pokémon are creatures that are very easily influenced by emotions, especially extreme ones like rage and hatred. If it had been another Pokémon in Ultra Necrozma's position, that Pokémon would most likely have come to hate all of humanity and lashed out in revenge.
But Ultra Necrozma did not do that.
However, Yuga and the others did not understand the grudge between Ultra Necrozma and Ultra Megalopolis, and Ultra Necrozma had no intention of telling them.
Although Yuga and the others had many questions in their hearts—like where this ruined city beneath their feet came from, what the cylindrical structure was, or how Ultra Necrozma had ended up in its previous condition—they were unable to voice them.
Ultra Necrozma did not spend long communicating with Yuga and the others. After expressing its gratitude, it left. After all, it had destroyed the vitality of several other Ultra Spaces, and it was now hurrying to help restore those worlds!
Once Ultra Necrozma left, Phoebe and the others looked at one another, and then finally asked Yuga, "What should we do now?"
Yuga replied, "The mission's complete, of course we go home!"
"But how are we going to get out of here?" Acerola asked with a troubled expression.
"Don't worry about that," Yuga said with a smile. Then he called out, "Lunala!"
"Lunala~"
At the call, Lunala descended from the sky. Yuga patted it and said, "Lunala, you can take us back, right?"
"Lunala~"
Lunala squinted its eyes and nodded, happily lowering its head to rub its cheek against Yuga's forehead.
"That's great—we can go home!" The League Trainers who came with Yuga cheered one after another.
At that moment, Naganadel also flew down from the sky. Upon learning that Phoebe and Acerola were leaving, it felt deeply reluctant. After spending a few months together, they had developed a strong bond.
Unfortunately, Naganadel had a whole clan to look after and couldn't leave with Phoebe and Acerola.
Phoebe, also reluctant to part, comforted Naganadel by saying, "It's okay, I'm sure we'll get the chance to meet again in the future."
Acerola also hugged Naganadel's neck and said, "Take care of yourself!"
Just then, Solgaleo called out to Lunala. The two Legendary Pokemon touched foreheads and had a brief exchange. After that, Solgaleo turned to Yuga and said: "Thank you all for your help this time. I don't have much to offer in return, but if you ever need my assistance in the future, just have Lunala call for me. As long as you're in the Alola region, I can come at any time."
Yuga nodded and replied, "Alright, thank you."
After everyone finished saying their goodbyes, Lunala carried Yuga into the sky. A beam of light shot from its forehead, and an Ultra Wormhole appeared.
"Let's go."
Yuga turned and spoke to Phoebe and the others riding on their Flying-type Pokémon, then entered the Ultra Wormhole and waved to Solgaleo.
"Goodbye, Naganadel, take care!"
Phoebe and Acerola also waved and shouted to Naganadel.
"Naganadel~"
Naganadel let out a cry, and after staring at the disappearing Ultra Wormhole for a long time, it finally spread its wings and flew toward the canyon where its clan was located.
Yuga and the others passed through the Ultra Wormhole and once again appeared in the sky above the small island where they had first entered Ultra Space. Breathing in the familiar air, Acerola sighed, "We're finally back!"
Below them, Nanu, who had been waiting all this time, let out a long sigh of relief upon seeing Yuga and the others return safely. Giovanni and the others had left in a hurry earlier without saying a word, which made him worry that something had happened to Yuga and the others.
Now it seemed that it was Team Rocket's own mission that had gone awry.
However, when Nanu saw Lunala that Yuga was riding, his expression changed slightly, though he quickly composed himself.
"It's good that you all came back safely." A rare smile appeared on Nanu's usually expressionless face.
Yuga and the others descended from the sky and threw the captured Team Rocket grunts in front of Nanu.
"Mr. Nanu, I'll leave these people to you," Yuga said.
Nanu, being the police officer of Ula'ula Island, naturally had the duty to take custody of the criminals. He nodded and said, "Leave them to me. You all must be tired too, so go get some rest."
Then he glared at Acerola and added, "And you!"
Acerola shrank behind Phoebe, trying to seek protection.
The reason Acerola reacted this way was that Nanu had actually been her guardian before she reached adulthood.
Acerola was a spiritual medium, mature from a young age, but she was also an orphan.
She had been abandoned by her parents and raised by Ghost-type Pokémon until she was found in a forest at the age of seven and then handed over to Nanu for care.
Although Nanu was a cold and indifferent person, he had always treated Acerola well and had looked after her all the way until she grew up.
This time, Acerola had actually snuck out to help Phoebe without Nanu's knowledge. She originally thought she'd just lend a hand and quickly return, but who could have expected things to go so wrong? Given the serious turn of events, it was no wonder Nanu was angry.
In short, Acerola was feeling extremely guilty when facing Nanu right now.
After handing the captured Team Rocket members over to Nanu, Yuga and the others were taken to rest at the Pokémon Center in Malie City.
However, before resting, Yuga made a phone call to Wallace.
As the person in charge of the rescue mission, now that they had successfully retrieved the missing people, he naturally had to report the outcome to his superiors.
Upon hearing that Phoebe was safe and sound, Wallace was very pleased. He also informed Yuga that Steven had finally returned—and had made a huge contribution during his mission.
In the Unova region, Steven had teamed up with Iris from the Opelucid Gym and taken down several of Team Plasma's secret bases. They even captured a considerable number of the organization's high-ranking members, including all remaining Sages.
The only regret was that Ariana managed to escape with Kyurem.
The League was now sending people all over in search of Ariana, but since she left Unova, there hadn't been even the slightest trace of her.
Ariana was extremely skilled at disguises, and as long as she didn't show herself, finding her would be incredibly difficult.
After the call with Wallace, Yuga fell asleep immediately. Having been on the move in Ultra Space for so long, he was utterly exhausted, and the others were in about the same condition.
Yuga ended up sleeping all the way until the evening. It wasn't until an urgent knock came from outside the door that he finally woke up.
They had actually returned in the late afternoon, so Yuga hadn't slept for too long, but he was still groggy. Being abruptly woken like this left him extremely uncomfortable.
When he opened the door, he saw that the one standing outside was none other than Nurse Joy.
Yuga had been in a foul mood from being awakened, but the moment he saw that it was Nurse Joy, his temper immediately vanished. Who could stay mad at the beautiful and gentle Nurse Joy?
"Nurse Joy, what happened?" he asked.
With a troubled expression, Nurse Joy said, "Mr. Shimizu, please come quickly—your Pokémon are fighting."
What? Yuga was stunned upon hearing this. How could they be fighting?
"Let's go, I'll take a look!"
Before taking a rest, Yuga had left all his Pokémon—except those in the shadow space—in Nurse Joy's care. They had worked hard during the journey, and Yuga wanted them to relax. Who would have thought trouble would arise instead?
But that shouldn't be the case. His Pokémon weren't traveling for the first time. They had always behaved well. How could they suddenly start fighting?
With doubt clouding his mind, Yuga followed Nurse Joy to the section of the Pokémon Center designated for guest Pokémon. As soon as he arrived, he immediately understood who the troublemakers were.
Pheromosa and Buzzwole!
When Yuga arrived, the two Pokémon were already locked in fierce battle, and not a single onlooker dared step in to stop them.
Despite having been thoroughly disciplined by Yuga in the past, both of them were still powerful Pokémon with strength on par with Elite level Pokemon. Of course, no one here could intervene, which explained why Nurse Joy had rushed over in a panic to wake Yuga.
By the time Yuga got there, the area was already a complete mess due to the two Pokémon's destruction. Other guest Pokémon that had been housed there were huddled in the corners, trembling in fear.
The guest Pokémon facility at the Malie City Pokémon Center was a simple Ecopark. Though not very large, it had everything it needed inside. But now, it had been nearly reduced to rubble thanks to the fight between Pheromosa and Buzzwole.
Yuga's other Pokémon had tried to stop the fight, but they realized that stepping in would only cause more damage, so they could only try verbal persuasion.
But verbal persuasion had no effect on these two. The fight had already escalated to a point where neither was willing to back down.
Pheromosa, using its incredible speed, flashed over to Buzzwole and lifted a leg to unleash a Double Kick.
Buzzwole, with its thick, muscular hand, grabbed Pheromosa's slender ankle and used a Vital Throw to hurl it violently away.
Crash!
Pheromosa crashed into a glass wall, shattering it into countless pieces. The crowd of onlookers and Pokémon all screamed and scattered in panic.
Pheromosa picked itself up and began performing a graceful dance—a Bug-type buff move, Quiver Dance. Just as it finished enhancing itself and was preparing to launch another attack on Buzzwole, Yuga's voice rang sharply in its ear.
"STOP!!!"
Yuga's voice was full of anger, and it made Pheromosa shudder involuntarily. The momentum it had just built up vanished completely.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Yuga shouted.
At the sound of Yuga's voice, both Pheromosa and Buzzwole immediately went from furious to meek, drooping their heads like scolded children, not daring to meet his eyes.
"Didn't I tell you both to behave before I left? How did you promise me back then?"
The moment they heard that, the two Pokémon immediately began pointing fingers at each other, blaming the other for the fight.
In truth, the argument had started over something utterly trivial.
Pheromosa was a stunning beauty among Pokémon, her beauty on par with that of Ninetales. Of course, Ninetales wasn't around at the moment—she had gone shopping while Yuga was asleep.
As soon as Pheromosa appeared in the facility, she immediately attracted a large group of male Pokémon vying for her attention. Whether or not they were from compatible species didn't matter—none could resist her charm.
Treats, drinks—various Pokémon flocked to Pheromosa with offerings.
Pheromosa enjoyed this attention immensely. She felt like tagging along with Yuga hadn't been a waste at all. Back in her own group, she never got this kind of treatment.
Seeing how popular Pheromosa was made Buzzwole very unhappy!
In Ultra Space, the Buzzwole species and the Pheromosa species had always been at odds. Even though they were in a new world now, Buzzwole still couldn't stand the sight of Pheromosa.
To be honest, Pheromosa didn't like Buzzwole either, but she considered it a crude brute and didn't want to associate with it, so she just ignored it.
The more Pheromosa ignored Buzzwole, the angrier Buzzwole became. So it started stirring up trouble. Any Pokémon that dared approach Pheromosa with gifts would be brutally beaten by Buzzwole.
Buzzwole's species had always been straightforward and primitive, believing that strength equals authority. Since Yuga had only recently captured this Buzzwole, it still hadn't shed its habit of solving problems with brute force.
After a few beatdowns, no Pokémon dared to approach Pheromosa anymore. As alluring as she might be, no one wanted to risk their life!
But this behavior of Buzzwole's completely infuriated Pheromosa. Just because she didn't want to deal with Buzzwole didn't mean she was okay with being bullied!
And so, the two finally came to blows. As they fought, the battle escalated, and nobody could stop them.
After understanding the full story, Yuga felt a splitting headache coming on and shot a fierce glare at the two culprits.
"I'll deal with you two later!"
Right now, the most important thing was to handle the aftermath at the Pokémon Center and to comfort and compensate the trainers and Pokémon affected by Pheromosa and Buzzwole's rampage. Who knew how much money that would cost! The damage to the facilities and property alone wouldn't come cheap.
What a disaster!
Fortunately, aside from the serious damage to the structure and equipment, no Pokémon were seriously hurt—just a few with minor injuries. That was the only silver lining in this mess.
