Chapter 270 - Undeniable Strength

The appearance of the Goddess of Death surprised both Wang Yang and the leader of the Celestial Order. Her presence caused some hesitation, especially after encountering Wang Yang's powerful Bosat's Thunder.

The Goddess of Death, wary of the situation, retreated. "I didn't expect there to be such a powerful human mage in this world!" she remarked. Her intense death aura dissipated into the cosmic space, and in the blink of an eye, she vanished.

Seeing the sudden appearance and swift disappearance of this woman, Wang Yang and the Celestial Order's leader exchanged glances. Wang Yang didn't know who she was or her strength, but he knew she wasn't an ordinary person, likely a powerful deity. The leader of the Celestial Order, however, recognized her.

Despite reaching his current strength, he knew he couldn't compare to the gods of the universe, especially the five great gods. Yet, the fact that one of them, the Goddess of Death, fled upon sensing Wang Yang's magic highlighted just how terrifying Wang Yang's magic was.

The leader of the Celestial Order felt the need to speak up. "Mage, let us go. We won't enter this universe again," he said solemnly. Usually, he might have negotiated calmly, but Wang Yang's lightning had already shown its potential to harm him, making further conflict undesirable.

"We ultimately have no deep enmity. They haven't posed a real threat to your homeland," he added, looking at the remaining members of the Celestial Order with a hint of resignation.

Wang Yang shook his head slowly. "Perhaps I might have let others go, but not you. I don't trust you," he said firmly. The Earth had already been targeted multiple times—first used as a cradle, and now the Celestial Order sought to destroy its civilization. He couldn't let this go.

The Earth was too weak. Any one of these Celestial Order members had the power to destroy it, far surpassing even the Ancient One. He couldn't guarantee the Earth's safety forever. Once he left Earth, it could be annihilated in an instant. Even if he could reverse the timeline, the losses might be irreversible, significantly, if certain powers prevented such reversal.

He couldn't risk leaving Earth's fate in the hands of those who cared nothing for it. He needed to eliminate this threat at the source.

The leader of the Celestial Order grimaced, cursing his troublesome subordinates internally. He knew and had agreed to the plan to destroy Earth's civilization to prevent anyone else from mastering time manipulation, but he hadn't anticipated facing such a formidable human mage.

"It seems the only acceptable outcomes for you are their death or submission," he said, watching Wang Yang intently.

"You're right. As the leader of the Celestial Order, you have keen insight," Wang Yang replied.

"But you must understand, we cannot accept such terms," the leader responded, shaking his head. The Celestial Order had its pride and would not bow to a human.

Wang Yang admired their resolve. Despite the dire situation, they refused to yield. Suddenly, a voice spoke up.

"Actually, it's not entirely unacceptable, is it, Leader?" Wang Yang looked towards the voice, recognizing the Eradicator.

The Adjudicator glared at the Eradicator, who sighed and muttered, "Better to bow than to die." The Eradicator had initially believed their leader could turn the situation around, but now he realized that even their leader couldn't ensure their safety. Some Celestial Order members had already perished.

The Eradicator didn't want to join them, but most of the Celestial Order refused to submit to a human mage, leaving them no choice.

"Your body is unique. My magic can't easily harm you. But... they are different," Wang Yang said, glancing at the leader before looking at the remaining Celestial Order members. He extended his hand, summoning a sphere of crackling lightning—Chaotic Thunder Spirit.

The sphere radiated a terrifying, suffocating power. "You've made your choice. Now face the consequences," Wang Yang declared.

Even the leader of the Celestial Order felt a twinge of fear in the face of such power.

Meanwhile, back at S.W.O.R.D. headquarters, Nick Fury was troubled. "The surrounding planets have been destroyed?" he asked grimly. However, the universe was vast, with many civilizations that might threaten Earth, and seeing planets destroyed so quickly chilled him.

"Yes, Sir," an agent replied solemnly. Captain Marvel, standing nearby, was equally horrified. If she had been caught in the aftermath, she wouldn't have survived.

"Gods truly are terrifying beings," Captain Marvel remarked. Without Wang Yang to hold them off, Earth would have been doomed. The uncertainty of Earth's fate weighed heavily on their minds.

Elsewhere near Earth, an Observer watched the events unfold. The Observers typically refrained from interfering, but such a significant battle was too intriguing to miss. Observing a mage fighting the Celestial Order was a rare spectacle.

The Observers have a history of friction with the Celestial Order, which often meddles in the universe. Today's conflict was a shocking development. One mage against the Celestial Order—and winning—was unprecedented.

This Observer decided to share the spectacle with his peers. In a void filled with countless meteors, several Observers were gathered, discussing their observations. Suddenly, a projection of another Observer appeared.

"You're late, Bodiko," one of them remarked, noticing the projection.

"You won't believe what I've found!" Bodiko exclaimed.

"Found what?" the observers were intrigued. Bodiko rarely gets excited, so this must be significant.

"I discovered a powerful mage in my universe. He's fighting the Celestial Order single-handedly and winning!" Bodiko said, his excitement evident.

One stern-faced Observer raised an eyebrow. "Even in the multiverse, there are few powerful mages. Magic has its limits," he said.

"That's why you can't imagine how strong this mage is. I've never seen such powerful magic. Even gods might not match this!" Bodiko insisted.

"Don't exaggerate, Bodiko. You've never seen a god use magic. You must report facts, not fantasies," the stern Observer admonished. The others nodded in agreement.

"It seems you don't believe me," Bodiko sighed. He had hoped to invite them to witness the event, but their skepticism was evident.

The stern Observer shook his head. "Your claims are unreliable. The five great gods are the pinnacle of this universe. There couldn't be a human mage capable of facing the Celestial Order directly. Despite their flaws, the Celestial Order's strength is undeniable."
