A few more months passed after that incident with Tiamat and Cordelia, and currently, I was practicing my techniques on the hordes of monsters escaping the Nether Realm, who had grown in strength over the months, with the strongest monster now being a Saint Emperor. If the rate continues like such, it should be almost a year until a Divine can pass through since the half-step chasm will come into play, which alone will take nearly the whole time.
'Hmm, so about two years until I start facing monsters that can threaten me? That isn't long, but I wish it were quicker; I wonder if I can do anything in the meantime… Other than enter that hellish realm.' Thought Elif lightly with a curious expression as his figure flashed through the horde of monsters, leaving behind a trail of corpses everywhere he passed.
During this time, Tiamat hasn't bothered me again; surprisingly, Cordelia has visited me twice for some fun sparring sessions, and Lucifer has yet to arrive, though I've heard from Illumia that he's only about a week out, which is good news.
'Ah, that's perfect, actually. I can spend my time tracking the location of the Chaos Lord's hidden abode; that should pass a good amount of time… Hopefully.' Mused Elif with a thoughtful expression as he stood still in one spot while thousands of monsters charged him with bloodthirsty expressions.
Of course, this all relied on whether Lucifer was physically able to tell or if the Scholarly Demon forced him to vow on his dao heart or something else along those lines, essentially making it impossible for him to ever tell me. The more I think about it, the more I expect it to happen, so, I shook my head and shifted my focus back to the monsters as I used my movement technique, Elven Body Flicker, and Fairy Sword Dance, allowing me to effortlessly weave through the horde of monsters and kill them without a single one even seeing my blurry figure.
I spent several days using the Nether monsters to help deepen my proficiency with both techniques until I got bored, prompting me to stop as I flew higher into the ocean, causing the monsters down below to climb atop each other as they attempted to reach me through any means. However, before they could even get half the height required, they were quickly bombarded with spheres of pure Qi that exploded upon impact, wiping any trace of monsters within a one-kilometer diameter.
Watching Bubble-City's defensive measures effortlessly push the horde of monsters back to the dimensional rift, I flew back to the city, phasing through the bubble as I exited the ocean before immediately drying myself with a burst of Qi that violently ruffled my clothes and hair. Once I was dry, Illumia appeared beside me while I dropped to the ground, slowly walking through the city streets as I winked at a few passersby until I arrived at my residence, only to be slightly surprised when I saw Eyvor.
"Eyvor? When did you arrive? You've been missing for a few months; do you know how bored I've been?" Asked Elif with a raised eyebrow as he glanced at Eyvor, only to pout as he playfully leaned onto Eyvor, who caught him while faintly blushing.
"Please, Prince Elif, not in public. Rumors will spread." Said Eyvor lightly with a faint blush as she pushed Elif off her before backing away, causing him to nod while entering his residence.
"True. Anyway, come, join me; I'm greatly bored and could use some friendly company." Said Elif with a nod as he gestured to Eyvor while entering his residence, prompting her and Illumia to follow closely.
"I arrived a few days earlier while you were busy slaughtering Nether monsters. However, it wasn't only me, Prince Elif, Goliath, Echo, Shelia, and Birger had also arrived." Remarked Eyvor lightly as she glanced at Elif, who turned around in surprise, walking backwards while eyeing her.
Expanding my divine sense throughout the city, I carefully searched everywhere, minus certain places such as Tiamat and Cordelia's reticence and whatnot; while doing so, I spotted everyone except for Shelia. Goliath was at the bar, out drinking everyone with only a few golems and Dwarfs capable of keeping with him; Birger was at the red light district; clearly, his several concubines weren't enough for his libido. Echo was at a restaurant, playing Realm Animus against anyone who dared to challenge her, or more like those who feared her threats, since she practically forced everyone to play her; and finally, Shelia was nowhere to be found, causing me to assume she was in the Aether Realm.
"Hmm, you're correct. Why did it take so long for you all to arrive? Do you know how bored I've been? I could've used some company." Said Elif with a slight nod, only for him to eye Eyvor in annoyance, causing her to wryly smile while shaking her head.
"I didn't know, Prince Elif, but I'm more curious about why you arrived so early. There was no benefit to coming to Bubble City so early." Said Eyvor softly as he glanced at Elif, who furrowed his brows while gesturing for her to continue speaking.
"Acquiring valuable resources from the Aether Realm won't take that long, a few months at most, Prince Elif. Even when you finish, Divine Monster will have yet to leave the Nether Realm, so you'll still have time to do as you please." Added Eyvor as she looked at Elif with an amused expression while his face twitched.
"Hmm, I see; it seems I made a mistake coming here earlier. However, I wish someone had informed me of their plan, rather than letting me come here and stay bored. Good job, Eyvor." Said Elif with a nod as he rubbed his chin before narrowing his eyes and leaning closer to Eyvor, who chuckled in amusement.
"Anyway, how did you know of all this?" "When I returned home, I asked my parents regarding the Triad Constellation. Did you not, Prince Elif?" Asked Elif and Eyvor, respectively, as the former curiously eyed the latter, who raised an eyebrow in confusion while tilting her head.
"Ask my parents? No. When I returned home, Elaine and I received punishment, and then we left." Stated Elif lightly as he tapped his chin while glancing at Eyvor before turning around and entering his room.
"Hehe, is it just more, or do you seem to get punished a lot? Are you being a bad Prince?" Asked Eyvor with a faint chuckle as she looked at Elif with a playful smirk while sitting down, causing him to roll his eyes.
"That's rich coming from you; tell me, who was the one who danced with me? While naked?" Asked Elif with a scoff as he glanced at Eyvor, who deeply blushed with shame while averting her gaze with a huff.
"I-It was a one-time thing, Prince Elif." Muttered Eyvor firmly with crimson cheeks as she folded her arms, causing Elif to smirk in amusement.
We spent a good hour casually chatting, with a bit of flirting occasionally, but eventually, Eyvor took the initiative to leave.
"I'm heading to the Aether Realm; Shelia is already there. Would you like to join Prince Elif? Or have you already visited?" Remarked Eyvor softly as she stood up, floating just a few centimeters off the ground while glancing at Elif with a curious and slightly hopeful expression, only to be quickly taken aback.
"NO. I refuse to step anywhere close to that hellish realm." Stated Elif firmly as he eyed Eyvor, who was surprised at his forceful tone, causing her to slowly nod with a confused expression.
"Um, o-okay then, Prince Elif, I apologize for asking." Said Eyvor softly as she glanced at Elif while approaching the door, only for her figure to vanish behind the wall a moment later.
Watching Eyvor leave, I leaned back and closed my eyes, spending the next ten minutes doing nothing but resting, though shortly after she entered the dimensional rift leading to the Aether Realm, Elaine suddenly exited alongside Marley, Idonea, and Ember, causing me to nearly leap in joy.
Without waiting, I quickly removed my clothes and wore one of my special outfits, which did next to nothing to conceal my important places, but since the whole point of the outfit was to incite lust in those who saw me, it excelled at that front. Leaping onto my bed, I placed one leg above the other while propping my head up with my fist as I looked at the door, awaiting Elaine's return.
It only took a minute for Elaine to arrive home, and another ten seconds before she neared our room, where I was waiting on the bed for her.
"~Brother~ I'm back!" Said Elaine loudly with a smile as she closed the door behind her, only for her to gulp when her eyes landed on Elif, who was wearing a white cat outfit.
"Mhm, I've been waiting, Elaine." Said Elif seductively as he glanced at Elaine, only to purr and claw the air, causing blood to leak from her nose while she promptly passed out, causing his expression to freeze.
"Haa, not again. First with the bunny outfit, and now the cat outfit? I'll need to prepare her for the cow outfit then." Muttered Elif with a deep sigh as he quickly caught Elaine before she hit the ground.
