Audrina looked up from braiding their daughter's hair and stared at her husband with a concerned look.
"I was wondering what you were over there stewing about for the last couple of minutes. I should've guessed it was that."
Thrudd looked confused. "Was he not making that face because he was on diaper duty..?"
Odessa had indeed given her father something to complain about, but it wasn't the reason he was simmering with a murderous rage.
"I'm gone for less than two weeks and he's cozying up to my favorite Aunt while I'm gone? I should kill-"
"Easy there, tough guy." Audrina snickered. "I thought you were on a new path now? Why let this ruin that?"
Abaddon helped Odessa sit up once she was clean and made sure to give himself new hands as well.
