Though ranked second, because the Summoner occupying the double leaderboard's first place is so low-profile it's almost outrageous, those numbed by playing the 'guess the question mark' game naturally shifted their focus to Cordova. After all, compared to an unknown entity—human or ghost—who's never fallen to the third place even for half a second since this leaderboard existed, Cordova feels like something more tangible.
Months of absolute dominance on two leaderboards have subconsciously disqualified that unknown Summoner from the 'human' domain in many people's minds. While that person would undoubtedly become the brightest star in this world once their identity is revealed, for now, Cordova's presence is more palpable.
Since that question mark isn't considered human anymore, Cordova, who has always placed second, naturally becomes 'the number one person' in the hearts of many.
