I woke up from loud knocking at my door so I got up and opened the door while still half asleep "we are 3 minutes late on morning calls" Ashir said firmly to me "who are you?" I asked cause my vision is quite blurry cause I just woke up, Ashir raised his right hand and slap me on my face "SWEET PINEAPPLES" I yelled out "did that wake you up properly?" he asked while having a bright smile on his face "yes!" I said to him while rubbing my cheek cause of the hard slap.
"Wash your face and change clothes and be outside before 15 minutes or I will leave you behind" he said to me and left. I opened my cabinet and took out some clothes that is given to me and a toothbrush and soap. I rush to the bathroom and wash my face quickly, then change clothes, I tried to move fast as flash cause I don't want to be left behind. I throw my clothes to the laundry basket and rush out of the dorm.
I'm patting as I got out of the dorm "that was fast" he said to me with a smirk on his face. You little- I really need exercise "lets go" he said to me and started walking, of course I followed him.
"Hiraya, don't you have a family?" he asked me, why is he asking me this out of the blue?, " I do have a family" I answered him "what are your parents like?" he asked me still walking "my dad is merchant and my mother is healer" I answered him while looking around the place. I can't really say that my dad is a salary man and my mom is a doctor at the local clinic back in my world.
"So you have an healing ability?" he asked "well... No cause I'm not their real child" he stop walking and look turn to me "what do you mean?" he asked me "I'm adopted and I don't know who my real mother and father are, they had me since I was a baby" I answered him smiling "then how did you became a slave?" he asked "our house got burned down and my parents saved me but they couldn't save themselves and things progress on from there on" I answered. It's a lie thought both of my foster parents are alive and healthy back in my real world.
Why is he asking me these questions to me? Did perhaps Zagreus ordered him to gain information about, I'm probably right. That guy always gather information before seeing if this person is useful or not.

I asked "because your cute" he said and smiled at me and continue to walk. OH HELL NO, I know that Ashir have a wicked personality but me being the target is just a no. You know like of your friends is a bully and likes to tease you, that is Ashir. I don't want to get involved with this guy, why did I make him like this? I'm such a fool.
We reach the training ground, a lot of boys were already there holding a wooden sword on their hands "catch" Ashir throw a wooden sword at me but luckily I was able to catch it and not make a fool of myself. "Get in line boys" a middle age man said and all the boys followed his command and so did I.
"today everyone will be paired to practice your combat skills but I will be picking your partners" He said to us with a firm voice. One by one everyone is getting paired except me who was the only boy left "you and...uhh... Who else doesn't have a partner?" He asked "me" a voice came from behind him and there appeared Zagreus holding a wooden sword "alright then little prince, he will be your partner" he said and pointed at me, Zagreus walk towards my direction "shall we start?" he said to me with a smile on his face. Oh holy nuggets I'm gonna die, this guy is a training freak, he always put a much more great effort that everyone else here. System.

"Hello?" he said to me already in his fighting position "oh, sorry" I said to him and I got ready as well. He strike first blowing his sword near my face and I dodge it pretty quick but it still managed give out a little cut on my cheek. HOLY CHICKEN, why did I make you so strong and how did you managed to cut my skin with a wooden sword?!. He keep on attacking in different directions like up, down, the left side of my neck, my heart and I managed to dodge them all even if his speed is very fast, I somehow managed to keep up with his speed.
I'm getting tired, I need to find an opening quick or else I'm done for. I have dodge every single one of his attacks but it looks like his not getting tired at all, I'm dead tired at this point, come on just one mistake, please just one. As he swing his sword to hit my right shoulder, he accidentally slide his left foot making his aim inaccurate to his target.
Finally!, I rush to him and aimed my sword with my full strength to his right shoulder but unfortunately he was able to block it very quickly and swing his sword to mine making my sword flew out of my hand. He kick me on my right leg causing me to fell on the ground due to the pain, he pointed his sword in front of me while having a bright smile on his face then my vision went black.
I opened my eyes and slowly got up while rubbing my head "your pretty weak" I heard Zagreus voice on my right side "where am I?" I asked him "your back in your room in the dorm, because of you that old man kept on nagging me to look after you" he said while crossing his arms and rocking the chair "well, I'm sorry for being so weak and stop rocking the chair it will break" I said to him and he gave me a frown and glared at me "what? Something on my face?" I said to him while look at his eyes "yes, it's ugly" he said to me. I beg your pardon?! My mother once told me that I look like Daniel Padilla "sorry dude but I'm not a mirror" I said to him and smiled.
He just rolled his eyes at me "if your not a mirror then are you my reflection?" he said to me "no, who would wanna be your reflection?" I said to him "your an odd one" said to me and grin "let me ask you one thing, who are you?" he said to me with a serious look " I'm Hiraya? A boy who will be executed when I turn 18" I answered him "how do you that you will be executed?" he said to me "you didn't commit a crime but at the same time you did" he added "then what would the judgement be?" I asked him "you will not be executed" he said to me "why is that?" I asked him "follow me, ugly duckling" he said to me and he got up from the chair and went outside of my room.
I did as I was told and followed him, we exited dorm and went back to the training grounds. He toss me a wooden sword "as I was-" before he could finish his sentence, I pull him towards me quickly "what are you doing and how dare you pull me?!" he said with cleared annoyance in his voice "I pulled you to me because of that" I said to him while pointing at the Danshi that pop out of the ground.
[Danshi information:
Danshi is underground serphant with the same size as an hydra that is due to their close association with each other, the only difference that they have is that the Danshi cannot restore back it's to its original form but in strength and speed they are both equal. Danshi can spit out it's venom with in arrange of one meter and it's scales are hard like iron to protect themselves and it can release poisonous gas to make a person go mad.]
The Danshi, I know it would come out today but not this soon, can it be a butterfly effect? Did I made it come out much sooner? I don't any- "WATCH OUT" Zagreus yelled while pushing me out of they way when it swing it's tail to us "thanks" I said to him "shut it ugly duckling" he said to me and he charged at the danshi.

You have got to be kidding me. Let's see if I remember correctly in order to defeat a Danshi you have to cut it head off, well it was a nice life. I got myself ready and run to the Danshi, I dodge at its attacks but it suddenly spits out it's venom to Zagreus direction, Sweet cheese, I run towards him and block the venom that was going to hit him. I felt my back burning from the venom but I can't give up yet, I turn to it and it was charging directly at us opening it's large mouth making its large long tongue to come out, I slice it's tongue and took Zagreus hand run towards the target ground and hid at one of the large dummies.
I can still feel the raging pain on my back, "why are we hiding?" he asked me "we should be out there fighting that thing" he said to me in annoyance. I look at him and saw his right hand looking like it was burned. "give me your hand" I said to him while ripping of a piece of cloth on my polo that was burned due to the venom. I took his and took the basin of water that was used in cleaning out weapons and soak his hand in it after that I wrapped it with a piece of cloth.
"That should help out for a bit" I said to him and added "I have a plan to defeat that thing" I said to him "you have a plan?" he said and laughed "yes, what about you do you have one?" I said to him with a bit of annoyance "yes" he said to me with confidence "then what would that be?" I asked him "killing that thing" he answered and I did a face palm in front of him "so here's what we're going to do, I will make that thing focus on me and you will charge from the back and cuts it head off, make sure that you aim at the lower part of it's mouth" I said to him "why should I listen to you?" he asked "because we don't have much time and we are on the edge of death" I said to him.
I didn't wait for his response and I proceed to attack it with my sword, I swing it to the left hitting the Danshis eye, I run in all sort of directions and dodge all of its attacks. I swing my sword and hit the Danshi at the face but I was hit by its tail making me fell to the ground and making my sword fly away from my hand "well, it was a good run" I said to myself while the Danshi is opening it's large mouth to eat me, I closed my eyes and waited for death, but all I heard was a large thud. I opened my eyes and saw that the Danshi was now headless and dead laying in front of me "your plan work ugly duckling" Zagreus said to me covered in blood and smiling widely. I also smiled at him then my vision went to black again.
I woke up again back in my room, I sit on my bed and scratch my head. I feel like I'm having a hangover, just what on Earth happened to me yesterday? Oh yes right I help Zagreus defeat the Danshi. Why did the Danshi came sooner? It was supposed to come out when Zagreus was in the middle of his training.

My door opened and Ashir came inside my room "your finally awake, go have breakfast in the dinning hall and say hello to Lilian, she was very worried about you and the Danshi incident 3 weeks ago" he said to me "okay, wait what I've been asleep for the past 3 weeks?!" I said in disbelieve "yes, now go and hurry and eat" he said to me "okay, okay I'm getting up" I said while getting up from my bed and scratching my head and Ashir left. Rude.
I took a bath and got changed, I went down stairs and saw Lilian tidying up "umm... Hi miss Lilian" She turn to me and quickly hug me "are you okay now? Please tell me that you didn't get poisoned as well, is your back okay now? Do you need a healer to check on you?" she said and release me from the hugging while she looks like she is about to cry "yes, I'm alright now miss Lilian and you don't need to get a healer to check up on me, I'm just very hungry so will be going to the dinning hall now" I said to her with a smile on face "yes, yes, your right. Oh yes dear the emperor said that he needs a word with you at his office, there will be two guards that will be escorting you there at 8 out the dinning hall" she said to me with a worried look "alright then, let see what time it is" I look up to the clock hanging on the wall and it was already 7 "I got to go miss Lilian, I only have an hour left to eat" I said to her while running out side.
I felt the fresh wind on my skin as I run to get to the dinning hall and the heat that the rising sun is giving me. I laughed as I was running, I so love running, it always make me feel so free apart from writing my own world through a screen. I'm patting as I entered the dinning hall and many boys look at me and some whispered. What are they whispering about, I sat at the empty sit at the back and the boy that was sitting next to me moved away a little bit away from me.
Ay wow, excuse me, I just took a bath and I don't stink, rude. Some boys on my table stared at me and averted their eyes when I look at them. What on Earth is going on? Do I look ugly, yea right I'm pretty good-looking.

I asked the boy that is sitting next to me "well, there are rumors going around that prince Zagreus pick you to be his first companion and that you entice him to make you his companion" he said to me "WHAT? ME? ENTICE THAT LUNATIC, I WOULD RATHER JUMP OFF A CLIFF AND DIE THAN DO THAT" I yelled out making everyone eyes on me "LISTEN HERE YOU TUWING I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE BUT HOW DARE YOU SPREAD RUMORS ABOUT ME YOU LITTLE PICKLE HEAD MISTAKE" I yelled out and a soon as I finish my sentence the food was served.
I ate my food still mad of what just happened to me. The whole time that all of us were eating, no one talk, it was just silent.
Two guards came inside the dinning hall and walk to my direction "Hiraya, the emperor would like a word with you in his office" one of them said to me "yea, I know wait I'm not done eating" I said and quickly finish my food. I felt two hands grab my waist and pulled me up and he carried on his shoulder "HEY! Wait I'm not done eating" I said to them but they didn't listen and just kept on walking out and away from the dinning hall.
As we entered the main building of the palace we walk up stairs and pass the giant and long hallway, I'm still being carried like a sack of rice. Both of them stop and the guy that was carrying me put me down. There two other guards standing at a huge door with two serphant carved on them, both of the two guards opened the door and the other two push me inside, and the door closed behind me.
In front of me is a middle age me with good-looks, black hair and red eyes and great charisma, but have and extreme aura of death. There is no doubt about it this man in front of me is kaiser Ziar, the father of Zagreus.
