this is my finshed prodcut for chapter 19 keep it sotred for futrre reference There has to be something I can specialize in…
Summoning alone wasn't enough. Not forever. I didn't want to keep relying on cards pulled from my ability. I needed something mine.
Something I could grow into.
It wasn't even that my summoning was random—far from it. I could choose which beasts or creatures to summon from the cards I owned. The problem was… I had to rely on them.
And in the middle of a fight, if I couldn't summon fast enough—or if my beast got overwhelmed—I'd be a sitting duck.
A mage with no direct spells… is just a target.
Gray walked past and gave a curious glance. "Still magic hunting?"
I nodded. "I'm trying to find something versatile. A kind of magic I can rely on—not just summoning."
Gray leaned against the wall. "Can't say I blame you. Summoning's strong, but you're wide open if the fight turns fast."
I nodded slowly. "Exactly."
"I came across two types," I said. "Enchant Magic and Solid Script Magic."
Gray blinked. "Enchant Magic? That's some high-level stuff. You sure you want that kind of pain?"
Cana sat down across from me. "He's right. Enchant Magic is powerful, but it's complicated. Not just learning the theory—you'd have to learn how to layer magic onto objects, people, spells… even environments. I've only seen masters pull it off well."
"It's tempting," I admitted. "But yeah… it's kind of overwhelming."
"What about Solid Script?" Cana asked, twirling a card in her fingers. "You can create solid words—FIRE, WIND, even objects like IRON or WALL. Seems easier to control than enchantments."
"Definitely," said Macao, who overheard as he walked by. "Solid Script doesn't require deep theory. Just focus and strong intent. It's flexible, and it scales well if your mana pool grows."
"Sounds like it fits your style," Wakaba added, puffing his pipe. "Especially if you want something you can shape into offense or defense. Even tricks."
"Thanks," I said, genuinely thankful. "I think… I'll go with Solid Script."
But there was still one thing left.
Mana.
I needed more of it—enough to draw something that rare from my talent.
——————————————————————————————
That night, back in my room, I sat cross-legged on the wooden floor and opened my Skill Panel.
The number at the top filled me with pride.
Current Mana: 10,500
I'd done it.
I had reached C-Rank.
And it was all thanks to the skill that worked silently in the background day after day.
I tapped open the detailed info:

'Alright. Let's try .'
I summoned my Lucky Draw panel.

First Draw...
Golden light shimmered. The card formed… then revealed:

"…You've got to be kidding me."
I tossed the card aside.
Second Draw...
This time, the energy pulsed stronger.
Another card formed.

I dropped to my knees.
"This is ridiculous…"
Fifteen thousand mana wasted—and I had nothing but stage props.
I lay back and stared at the ceiling, completely still.
'I'm not asking for much. Just one real spell… one that lets me fight with my own hands.'
Still, I waited. My cultivation skill restored my mana over time.
Eventually, I reached full again.
I stood up.
Third Draw...
Card: Wand Prop – light Effect
—
Tier: 1
—
Type: Item
—
Use: 1
—

I staggered back and hit the floor, completely drained. My breathing was ragged, and my arms tingled from overuse.
'Three tries. Three failures. I'm out of magic, out of options, and out of patience…'
I closed my eyes. Waited. Let the passive skill do its work.
And myself started to activley try to recover mana.
After a while, my mana returned to just over 5,000.
My last chance for the night.
I held out my hand.
Fourth Draw...
The air shimmered with gold again—but this time, it pulsed heavier.
The card took shape.
It settled into my palm.
And the text burned itself into my mind.

—

I stared at the card in my hands.
It felt… real.
Earned.
My hands trembled—not from fear, but relief.
I brought the card to my chest and let it dissolve into me.
The warmth spread through my core, like ink seeping into parchment.
Solid Script Magic.
Not summoned. Not borrowed.
Mine.
My knees finally gave out, and I collapsed backward onto the floor.
The candlelight flickered in the corner of the room, and my thoughts drifted.
'I did it.'
No matter how random the talent was, no matter how exhausting… I had carved something out of it.
With mana nearly drained, muscles aching, and breath shallow—I smiled.
"I'll try it in the morning…"
And then, without another thought, I drifted into sleep.
This time, it wasn't a sleep filled with fighting or strategy.
Just peace.
