Luca observed Ayana for some time as the smile disappeared from his face. He realized that he did not find the scene as exciting when he first found the fact that his wife loathes rats. He even felt that he found the rat annoying since his wife seemed to avoid the animal.
Luca did not say anything as he started to draw something with his finger. The lump of energy started to gather in the corner of the room. It did not take long for the room to light up from the energy from the portal.
With the light from the portal, Luca could see how Ayana's face seemed relieved and happy as she turned to look at Luca.
"You look better smiling," Luca commented as Ayana dragged him toward the portal that was perfectly open.
