Alex went to the Sky Mist sect next, flying over the Northsword to get to the other side of the desert.
Upon reaching there, he immediately called for the sect's strongest fighters to fight him. They felt disrespected at first, but as they started fighting, they quickly realized that Alex had the right to disrespect them.
He was strong.
Their sect leader, a man seemingly in his late 30s, fought Alex with his spear. It wasn't long after that the Sky Mist sect was forced to use their battle array as well.
Theirs was a special array that affected Alex. Their array made it so that he had a hard time judging just where his opponent was. The distance became hard to determine, thus making it hard for him to dodge or block each attack.
Alex fought under this strange condition for half an hour, focusing all that he could into improving his Sword Intent. Even under this disadvantage, the sect leader failed to gain much of an upper hand.
Afterward, he gave up.
