In the morning, at 9:50.
Bai Yiyi arrived at the coffee shop across from the residential area.
She muttered to herself, arriving ten minutes early; she hoped this would be considered polite.
Entering the coffee shop, she glanced around. It was the weekend, and the place was crowded. From a distance, she noticed the man sitting at the table her mother had described.
The man, clad in a suit with a leather collar, appeared upright from his silhouette.
She pursed her lips and slowly walked over, politely starting the conversation: "Hello, are you Mr. Zhang Siming?"
"Yes, I am. Hello, Miss Bai."
Seeing Bai Yiyi, a flash of astonishment beamed in Zhang Siming's eyes; he quickly stood up, greeted her warmly, and reached out for a handshake.
"Please, have a seat, Miss Bai."
Bai Yiyi made herself comfortable without hesitation and sat down.
Zhang Siming called over a server, "What coffee would Miss Bai like?"
