After rescuing a big cat leopard from under an animal trap and treating its wound, the creature acted like an oversized, aggrieved child, whimpering as it burrowed into Ruanruan's arms, holding onto her as though never intending to let go.
Ruanruan, half-laughing and half-crying, comforted it and cut off a piece of meat to feed it, helping it regain strength.
