The old woman glanced at Li Ang, then at the surveillance camera high above the intersection. The deep, ravine-like wrinkles on her face twitched violently a few times, and her pale lips mumbled. In the end, however, she said nothing. She imperceptibly moved back a step, lowered her head, and pretended she hadn't seen Li Ang.
She didn't mind an extra meal, but right now, under a surveillance camera, and considering the Special Affairs Bureau might come after her, it was best to hold back for now.
The old woman remained silent. Li Ang, however, stepped forward, pretended to let out a long, drunken belch, and asked with concern, "What's wrong? Why aren't you talking? Was it my armpit sweat? Did it overwhelm you?"
