Federation East Coast, Gast Island.
This is a sinister island, devoid of any green vegetation; it features rugged, sharp black stone, and apart from a few ugly seabirds, it is difficult to find other creatures on the island.
Even seasoned historians may not know that it was here that a ship laden with thieves, robbers, and murderers docked to take the first step of legend.
On the island, the only structure; a tower completely made from piled rubble.
Perhaps it once served to guide ships, but it has been abandoned for many years.
Now, it is deep into the night.
Blazing lightning roars, waves howl as they crash over, and torrential rain pours down, attempting to completely submerge the island.
Where the tower top should be pitch-dark, suddenly, lights flicker on.
