The counter-attack was underway on several Places. Everyone had their jobs and went to work as best they could. Warhammer 30k-40k seemed to be very.. violent from their understanding. More violent than before. Terra fell under siege from strange forces. Tietra and Kat went to work with the Primarchs they trusted.
Final Fantasy Tactics had something weird going on. But it was good that Azul had forces on the border changing things. They were ready to push in deep. Kasumi finally got out of her funk. More than ready to steal everything the enemy had of value. Onyx left Azul to work with her. Fear about what could happen to her made the three agree it was a good course of action.
In Mortal Kombat, Dark Smaus moved with the Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu people with ease. Rayna, Candace, and Cassandra joined her helping every way they could. Sindel took a liking to the woman. In a very.. personal way. The Azul their was having trouble resisting things. Work made it easy though.
Lu Bu and family joined up in Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. Claire took the help in stride with Altina. They marched against the linked World that arrived. Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon had fused into by the machinations of the Traitor Users. United against a common enemy, was just what they needed to ease tensions.
Persona 5 was feeling a strange occurence. Mileuda, Rise and forces moved with extreme prejudice against the Users. Showing no quarter after seeing traces of the tech that wiped out the one Plane. They need the World Shards of the place to do any real damage like before. Which Mileuda held onto tightly.
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links received a small problem. They came into to mess with things not knowing Lettie control every World Shard from the place between her self and the Followers she had their. She attacked so viciously with a lockdown of the area, that the Users involved would rue the day they crossed her. Tania, Camula, and Abidos followed her like she was the Pharoh herself. Which technically.. she was. Every fight was a Shadow Duel.
Super Robot Taisen received a bolter in their forces. Zelda felt a threat, as a World tried to fuse into it. Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front. Ruri & Jill didn't take kindly to that. With the forces of Fury attacking in full force. Natarle piloted Azul's Mobile Suit with Bass and Ruri providing Support in a Mobil Armor.
Magic The Gathering took in some more problems. Someone pulled places from Dungeons & Dragons and dropped them in the places that were ripped out. An invasion force to take things apart in every direction. The attacks were brutal and unforgiving. Swift asked Azul for help saying she would do anything. Jane adding into that as well. Lluvia took charge of the negotiations for that. As far as Azul knew it was handle in a way he would be happy.
World Of Warcraft received a force the marched across with technology that was to foreign for the locals. They used Xcom technology to fight them. Jaina fought back with devasting power that scared even her allies there. Shalla, D'Vorah, Antiqua, Benezia and Telos joined her there. Acting as her Honor Guard enjoying magic she gifted them. The 10,000+ Valkyr she had at her side scaring most from trying anything as well. Thanks to the bond she shared with Azul and the Lich King Armor, every time Azul in any World killed someone that matched the criteria of the specters, they appeared under Jaina's command. Making a certain Banshee Queen very upset. Seymour excelled in the World. His mother was not there to hamper him in any way. Which was what she wanted for him to grow stronger. He enjoyed seeing Azul as a Paladin. And laughed a lot at his talking that was different then usual.
Final Fantasy VIII was fine. But they increased patrols. Quistis' hold on her World was absolute. Even Jaina was impressed. With the size of the World and the knowledge she had, it was a lot easier to maintain than others. Azul spent a month buffering in any issues that he found. Just security and temporal issues. Considering the way the messed with time send Squall through it, it had to be done. That was completely undone. Spending time with the babys was, about one would think. They were baby's and acted as such. Didn't mean Azul wasn't found sleeping with the two a few times instead of working. The twins had a strange way of causing his Pather power to boost higher but it was not used on them.
He also passed on some gifts to them. Kasumi made some bandanas from material she combined from various places. Lettie made some Millenium Items to protect them both. A sword that can change sides for his daughter and a bracer for his son. Imbued with the most potent of Shadow Realm magic to protect them. Ra insured it was safe. And Quistis as well. As well as two Duel Decks.
AzuI waited ahead on Mushroom Rock road. They tended to split up in their travels mostly. Just a little room between his people and them. The versions of the Thessia sisters here ran into trouble from the Ronso tribe. They wanted to move back to their ancestral grounds. It met with a brutal end. They beat the people up and cowled them into obedience. Sending a scout squad to go back to the ground to see why it was a bad idea.
No point in traveling with them all the time. AzuI rather they catch up and they go from there. Besides, it gave him alone time with Anima. It definitely improved things. She was happy to wait around with him. More comfortable back away from the craziness in Magic the Gathering. She enjoyed the crazy that was involved in the World already.
They would wipe out the monsters in the area and then clean up and wait. Not much talking though. She didnt want to talk. Just wanted to hold Azul. Memory of him falling against Ulamog causing her to lose a little sleep. When would see him rise, she was able to continue sleeping. But dreams had a way of turning bad.
Ariel & Inferna the same way. But they rested attached to him instead. It was more than enough for them. It was a steady pace as they moved out doing things. Good time for Azul to understand everything in the other Worlds. Popping into each one, and mentally linking for a few things was defintely worthwhile. Very good powerup for each of them.
Riku had moved up to them a few hours later. She was determined right now to kill the evil Seymour that was left. The full Guado Seymour was a monster that turned worst by the week. AzuI didnt mind in the least. Moving away they went to ambush him and his kill force.
"There he is." Riku said pointing. A few of the other Guado "guardians" standing not to far away. "I want to fight him on one."
"Tch, are you serious!?" LuIu said a little ticked off. "Let me fight him with you to help. I can cut off his magic a good bit. And Yuna can provide good support."
"No! I have to do it." Riku said a bit of lightning flashed in her eyes. They were a weird white as they flickered. "My fight!" She was angry about something, but Azul didn't pry at all. To much going on with her to solve in one sitting.
"Ughh, fine then. Not with out buffs." LuIu activated every one she could use on her without triggering problems from the World itself. Yuna did the same as well as Azul.
"Once you get close, activate the Auxilary field and I will cast the other buffs to help if needed." Azul offered a little advice.
"No, they won't be needed. I have trained to kill this bastard for a very long time. You know this." Riku was stubborn more than he had ever seen her. Almost manic in a way. "Years worth!"
"You must keep a clear head." Yuna said gently. Her hand brushed her cousin's shoulder gently. White magic washing over her. She learned a few mental spells from Azul. "Keep it togethor."
"Thanks," Standing up and moving silent thanks to her Lin Kuei and magic, she was gone. Out of the wind she appeared next to Seymour and cut at his throat.
"Bing!" A magical shield reflected her away. As she moved back, several knives shot out.
"Ding! Ding! Ding!" Several protection wards went off. Someone made him stronger than before. Anima disappeared into Azul. She would not help kill him. It felt to wrong in a way.
"Fwoosh!" Azul, and Lulu teleported over. They went to take care of the guards. They were stronger than last time. Then he felt the change, the World was already protecting them and Seymour. Yuna went to get involved with Tidus group. Distracting them to keep from getting in the way.
AzuI brought Ostia down with the strength of a rampaging bull. The guardian put up a magical barrier to block him. "Bang!" As if I hit a metal going, my hands vibrated. I looked at the guardian who smiled with a smug expression. It didnt stay long, as his face twisted in pain.
"Kuff," he spat up some blood and doubled over. "What strength your a monster!" Grasping at his sides as he bent over.
"Aww shucks, your such a sweet talker." I looked at his neck that he offered up to me and chopped it off. "I just cant pass up this opportunity."
"Schlick" it slid right off. "Whack," I didnt let it land as I kicked the head at another guardian.
"My Khan there are so many of them," Mileena said cheerfully. She started dancing between the bodies as she moved about with a hit and run fighting style. I pushed in swinging with a little force. Enough as before disrupting their barriers.
"Yeah," I yelled as I kicked up the axe hilt. "Ping," the guado guardian blocked it with his sword.
"Grr," he pushed back against me growling. "Why are you doing this?!" He put his hand up and fired a blast of ice. "Blizzara!"
'Biotic Shielding!' I cast to my front. I wanted to try something. The shield started to freeze instantly. I didnt try to stop it. 'Adrenaline Rush!' With that boost, I charged at them like a wrecking ball. Swinging the giant ice ball at them. It was surprisingly fun. Looking I saw Mileena floating up high.
"Tornado!" She moved the winds and wrapped it around the guado guardians. "Suffocate for me." I saw the glint in her eyes. She enjoyed killing them. Not as much as killing the monsters we hunted. But the people were fighters. That made the difference to her.
The winds lifted the Guado soldiers into the air. As they spun little small cuts appeared on their bodies. The deep cuts were on the wrist and legs. Mileena pulled them up to her, then cut the wind the bodies fell helplessly.
"Misty Fist!" I grabbed the water in the air and made spikes for them all to land on. As for my iceball, I let it float around me. Just in case. "Rggh," I grunted pouring some extra magic into the spikes. Hooks formed catching different parts of the raining guado guardians.
"Ahhh," I heard Riku yell as she stabbed at Seymour's heart. With a wave of magic, she was knocked away.
"Thump, thump," she bounced on the ground twice before fixing her self. I could feel her magic from where I stood.
"Thundaga," was all she said as a blast of lighting left her entire body and went towards Seymour. It didnt stop there as she raised her hand up gathering more magic. That is when I felt it in full force. The world was trying to protect Guado Seymour. It was weird considering it was a pillar versus another pillar.
"Oh no, you dont." I stepped forward and sent my magic against it. "Dont get in her way! Come forth Ariel (Echuilles!)"
"Splash!" A water wave, made of magic appeared. Ariel (Echuilles!) was standing on little blankets of water. A trident, which was new in her hand. Formed from the Growlanser Ring Azul gave her a while back. She had a gown made of psychic water that was almost translucent. Long black hair that flowed like waves. Crystal clear eyes that held the World in apathy. Pointing her finger out, a bow formed of water.
'Well, damn.. you need thicker clothes. That is way to distracting. How in the hell did you make it even skimpier?' Azul wasn't the only one thinking so. The other two aeons hummed in thought. 'I need you to fend off the magic of the World coming down.' She nodded and pulled at her bow. All the magical energy that started to head towards Guado Seymour went to her instead.
"Anima!" Guado Seymour yelled. His own magic was still formidable. The anchor came from out of the sky getting ready to pull Anima out. Riku was waiting for it.
"Thunderstorm!" She smirked. The lightning traveled down the anchor. Blasting Anima. "Your Mommie cant protect you boy!" Riku said damn near foaming at the mouth. Her biotic strands thrummed into Azul. She was angry seeing a version of Anima this way. She was not only one.
"Arrrgg!" It bellowed as the electricity burst threw its body. AzuI felt its pain and the anguish hit him. Anima didnt like it at all. Focusing on it, he cast Mental Cleansing. 'I.. want.. freedom..' It's thoughts came loud and clear.
"Seriously making a summons out the pain of your mother's death.. how jacked up are you?" Guado Seymour stared at Azul. He was shocked from what I could tell. "Sorry about this Dark Anmia." It was the distraction Riku needed as her spell kicked up again tearing into him. A bolt of lighting 3x as big as before came down.
"Woosh!" A blitz ball came from the side that none of them were ready for last time. Lulu turned at hit it was a fireball. It vanished but a second blitz ball came behind it. Azul was busy pulling Dark Anima apart. Chappu had launched it. It seems the brothers slipped past Yuna.
"Bang!" It hit the center of Riku's spell dissipating it. It spent in place building up in speed. What it picked from the lighting, causing a weird electrical disturbance before it stopped.
"Tch!" Azul clicked his teeth in frustration. He had to let go his hold on Dark Anima. Unless he wanted to cause her unneeded pain. Magical Indoctrination was placed on her to spy. She did not resist. 'I know you won't mind. I can tell you were wanting her helped as well.'
'Yes.' The True Dark Rune pulsed on Azul's back. 'I will become stronger, and I think it will help me figure some things out about who else has messed around in my Home World.'
"What in the world are you all doing!?" Wakka yelled. "Do you know who that is?"
"Taking care of a problem." AzuI dashed at him ready to cut him down. "Who gives a shit about who he is. Are you that far gone as an idiot zealot to protect him? If you really want to be a devout Yevonite, talk to Auron. He can tell you personally on what that gets you."
"Wait!" Yuna cried out. She was coming up with the others.
"Azul stop!" Riku yelled. It caused him to freeze right in his tracks. AzuI had Ostia right above Wakka's face as he stared at him. LuLu had a spell reigned in, ready to strike Chappu. Whatever he did to her previously was still fresh in her mind. "Wakka may hate us Al Bhed, but dont kill him."
"I think Chappu is just a little misguided is all." Yuna answered.
"Tch, you got lucky. You were almost on your way to see the otherside." AzuI frowned and moved away. With a snap of his fingers, the dead were sent on. Guado Seymour had gotten away when the spell was interrupted. Ariel looked exhausted having to stop the World influence.
"What a drag, Guado Seymour got away. Tsk, close to killing that monster." Tidus grumbled. He recived a few glares from the others. "What? Everyone was thinking it, well except those two."
"Fwoosh!" Anima appeared next to Azul. "There is always next time my love. It will be monster v.s. monster then. Provided Riku shares this time. She is not up to taking him out on her own."
"Mhm, your right." Azul turned giving her a look. She was a little mad at Riku failing considering how sure she was with her self. A quick turn towards Ariel to address her. "Come down Ariel (Echuilles) You did great." As she descended Azul wrapped her in magic and gave her actual clothing. It was just a thicker toga to hide the most important parts. "You little exhibitionist, trying to get the people in a frenzy."
"Good enough to keep you randy though." She teased playfully. "Have to show the monk busy things they are missing." She gave a wink towards Wakka, Chappu, and Auron.
"Sure." AzuI said to her."Nothing wrong with you having your fun. Try not to go to far."
"Really?" She couldnt believe it.
"Yeah. I letting loose the reigns on a lot of things. Can't stay super tyrannical with everyone. Especially if they do not like it. See, I am learning on how not to be such an ass. Just really... slowly."
"No. I dont want to. I just want to.." Echuilles said surprised. Her eyes flashed with magic as if she was talking to someone. "I will watch it. No fun if you are not upset. You look jealousy. So bloodthirsty." She then disappeared. 'I will have to find more ways to get a rise out of you.'
"Hehe, never boring in my life." Azul chuckled. Anima gripped tighter as she floated behind him.
"Come on Azul." Lulu said having move up already. "We need to deal with that other problem.
"Riku said there is something called Operation Mi'ihen going on." Tidus added in. They ignored Wakka and Chappu. Auron and Yund didn't. Laying into them as they walked.
"Is she gonna be ok?" Tidus asked. "I mean, she fights all the time. Or she runs around everywhere training. If she isn't doing that, she is reading and talking with you." He was referring to a very upset Lulu.
"Being ok.. relative. She fights because she enjoys the strength it gives. She reads because I want her to, I pointed out it could help with the thoughts she is having abot life." Azul answered while sparing a glance at Lulu. "Reading is nice. It takes us away from problems. As for talking with me... well have you met me? I am a regular old chatterbox."
"Right," Tidus said sort of getting it. "You would have killed Wakka and Chappu if she didnt stop you. Wouldnt you?"
"Yup."
"What wouldn't you do for her. For Riku that is?"
"Huh, their is a lot. She is not that high up in the ability to sway me with things. Not anymore." Thinking about the information that he had about the other Riku was nice. But not enough to override the way he felt in the hear and now. "The way she has been looking at you, I am sure their is a whole lot she will do to you. And you to her."
Tidus thought about it a little more as they walked. "I wouldn't burn the rest of the World for her if she asked me to." He grinned at Azul. "Unlike a certain someone I know."
"I have done a lot for the people I care for, even more horrific things for those I care about." Azul's eyes shined a little with Dark Side power. "Killed Billions to save "my" Millions. And.. destroy an entire Society just to save a Follower of mine. They should not think it was ok to try and sacrifice him just to save themselves."
"That is intense. It is also bat shit crazy!" Tidus said knowing AzuI was serious. "Is it that important to make your people happy?"
"Yes. If it wasnt for her, I wouldn't be here like I am now anyway." He pointed at Anima. Who gave a smile. "Unlike you, that is my purpose. Riku is flippy floppy about having me involved right now. Which is fine, it is her .. mission more or less. Its not like she is gonna ask me to go to a town and kill everyone or something. Mostly people who deserve it."
"Right. She knows they deserve it how?" Tidus asked looking at Riku with Yuna and Auron lecturing. "I mean she looks the same as a regular teen. Same as me and you. Well same as them. You are really abnormal. Even when we were young you acted differently."
"Hmm, I suppose." AzuI just gave him a once over. He was fine just feeling nostalgic he guessed. 'Ah, I wonder what will happen this time?' Seeing Wakka come over, he got ready for the stupidity.
"I understand you and Riku arent Yevonites. That doesn't give you the right to murder him. He is the highest summoner. The one most likely to defeat Sin after Yuna." Wakka said holding his gaze on Azul.
"Thats nice Wakka." AzuI didnt stop walking. "The highest summoner means shit. Trust me, I know personally."
"You forgot about yourself," Wakka said getting in front of them. "You are a summoner as well. You technically are supposed to listen to him!" He balled his fists. "You should obey the High Summoner! With your strength, why dont you become his guardian and help defeat Sin?"
"Your Aeons should go to him as well. I am sure he can make them obey." Chappu said darkly.
"Overlady's Wrath." Anima wrapped the magic around her finger before Chappu knew what was going on. "I.. obey.. no. one but Azul!" Her powers felt out of control. Chappu and Wakku had a strange green light glowing in their eyes.
"Chappu!" Lulu yelled. She and Yuna walked over to confront him. A double blast of magic from the two, and a the green haze left him. He slumped to the ground as Azul purified Wakka. "Hah, he's fine. He isn't even hurt. In fact, the poison from the other day is gone."
"Yes, but it should not have done that." Azul was slightly baffled. "It seems the enemy is doing more to mess with things. Ah well. Can't be everywhere."
'True. And you can't seperate considering Indigo will send your Prime soul into the future. A good way to counteract it by staying fused. He will send a split of your Prime soul and leave you in control still here.' Anima was very happy to remind him of temporal trouble. 'I can feel it wrapping around you a little.'
She vanished back inside him to get ready. A slight pause in the World, and A part of Azul was thrust forward. it was jarring and he tried hard to resist on instinct. In the end, he stops once he couldn't pinpoint where Indigo was.
"Sinspawn Gui." AzuI muttered when time return to normal. That is what they were up against next. "Well, time to get a new Dark Aeon." A green glow in it's eyes left nothing to the imagination.
